The Lion’s Roar for the Divine Reorder

This morning in prayer, I had an incredible encounter.

Suddenly, I found myself in an otherworldly location, and inter-dimensional round suspended high above you. At that moment, The Lion of Judah appeared in His majestic, glorious splendor. He walked up to me and I ran to Him, following before Him and clinging to Him. I rested in the warmth of His strength and my face was resting in the gentleness of His thick mane.

He nuzzled me and then took a few steps forward overlooking the circle of the earth. Suddenly, He let out a massive roar that transcended time and space and He roared over the earth causing the earth to shake. I asked Him what He was doing and He said, “Watch and see.”

I looked out again over the earth and in the midst of the shaking, a brilliant light burst forth and cast its light over the earth. I asked Him what I was witnessing. He replied, “I am sounding the trumpet blast for the grand upheaval. Where the enemy had his claws sunk in My Bride, My Body, causing corruption, deception, and interruption; I am releasing the sound waves of a mighty and divine reorder. The shaking you see is his chokehold being shaken loose. It is also the shaking that one does when shaking a collection of rock and soil in a sieve. All of the sediment is filtered out with continuous shaking and stirring, and the true treasure is revealed and exposed.

I desire a pure Bride to carry forth My mission in the earth. As the great light of awakening rises upon her, she will emerge from the shaking glowing bright for all creation to see. Her light will never be hidden or snuffed out again; nor will she place a bushel over it out of fear and intimidation. When this divine reorder is said and done, My true Bride will emerge and be prepared for the Heavenly enlistment.”

Job‬ ‭37:1-5‬ (‭AMP‬‬)
“Indeed, at His thundering my heart trembles and leaps out of its place. Listen carefully to the thunder of His voice, and the rumbling that goes out of His mouth! He lets it loose under the whole heaven,  and His lightning to the ends of the earth. After it, His voice roars; He thunders with the voice of His majesty, and He does not restrain His lightning [against His adversaries] when His voice is heard. God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend.”

‭‭Psalm 77:18‬ ‭(TPT)‬‬
“Rolling whirlwinds exploded with sonic booms of thunder, rumbling as the skies shouted out Your story with light and sound and wind. Everything on earth shook and trembled as You drew near.”

Joel‬ ‭3:16-17‬ (‭AMP‬‬)
“The Lord thunders and roars from Zion and utters His voice from Jerusalem [in judgment of His enemies], and the heavens and the earth tremble and shudder; but the Lord is a refuge for His people and a stronghold [of protection] to the children of Israel. Then you will know and understand fully that I am the Lord your God, dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, and strangers [who do not belong] will no longer pass through it.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:8-10, 13-14‬ (‭TPT‬‬)
“Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with Him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with His revelation-light! And the supernatural fruits of His light will be seen in you—goodness, righteousness, and truth. Then you will learn to choose what is beautiful to our Lord…Whatever the revelation-light exposes, it will also correct, and everything that reveals truth is light to the soul. This is why the Scripture says, “Arise, you sleeper! Rise up from your coffin and the Anointed One will shine His light into you!””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:14-16‬ ‭(AMP)
“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Where Are the Fearless Waymakers?

PROPHETIC WORD – March 16, 2020

I heard the Lord say in prayer this morning:

“In the coming days, you will see and know a deeper release of My hand in the land. You will see a wave of life arise where the spirit of death has run rampant. Where many were in darkness feeling their way along the walls like the blind; behold, a great light will shine and shake everything. This will bring a mighty awakening of My Body and she will begin to see with My eyes and not through the eyes of fear.

To a world drowning in fear, she will be that beacon of hope and life in the midst of chaos. Suddenly, a release of heavenly blueprints for the ending of this scourge will be given to her as she seeks Me and partners with Me in this move.

She MUST NOT bow her knee to the enemy nor hunker down in fear that leads to destruction! She must rise up, push back full force against the tide, and see Heaven’s backing come through.

Just as with Elisha’s servant, may her eyes be opened to see the great army that stands at the ready to trample every foe – for greater are they that are with her than they that are against her!!!

Sound the trumpet and raise the battle cry! Watch as I scatter your enemies before you! Watch as I lay to waste that which has sought to destroy and devour!

I say to you…

Where are they who would take a bold and fearless stand against the enemy?!

Where are they who would prepare the way for the coming move of victory?!”

Psalm‬ ‭11:3-4‬ ‭(TPT‬‬)
“What can the righteous accomplish when truth’s pillars are destroyed and law and order collapse? Yet the Eternal One is never shaken — He is still found in His temple of holiness, reigning as Lord and King over all. He is closely watching everything that happens. And with a glance, His eyes examine every heart. For His heavenly rule will prevail over all.”

As we see the earth shaken amidst the current demonic attack through the coronavirus, the Body of Christ is continuing to go through the sifting I shared about August 28th of last year in the post, The Great Sift for the Shift: The Call to Holiness.

God is looking for those in this hour filled with fiery faith to stare this demon of fear in the face and command that it bow its knee to Jesus, the King of Kings! He is calling forth the waymakers who refuse to bow their knee to Jezebel and her minions!

When His eyes search the earth, will He find a submitted heart and vessel in you to wage war on the enemy? Will He find a trustworthy warrior who knows the end of the story and refuses to allow the enemy to gain the upper hand? I pray for the grace, mercy, and boldness to fill you up and to partner with Him in establishing HIS KINGDOM HERE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!

Hebrews‬ ‭10:37-39‬ ‭(TPT‬‬)
For soon and very soon, “The One who is appearing will come without delay!” And He also says, “My righteous ones will live from My faith. But if fear holds them back, My soul is not content with them!” But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!

America: His Hand Extends

It has been a while since I have shared on here. It seems like God has Jeremiah and I in seasons where one will be receiving the bulk of words and encouragements and then He will switch it on us. Jeremiah did great with the recent 40+ posts during the Celebrate to Accelerate Fast!

These past few months have been a bit wild, a bit crazy, and full of a whole lot of change and growth. Jeremiah got a word from the Lord at the end of last year that has held true in literally every area of our lives, “Everything changes!” One of the many things He had up His sleeve for 2020 definitely was a sweet surprise…we will be having a beautiful addition to our tribe of Fiery Ones in the fall!

7C5D0298-3613-45F1-A6DD-F440A5911756

I believe that the word, “Everything changes,” is not just something that is for our family, but I believe it something He is bringing about in so many spheres, regions, and nations. There is a cataclysmic shift taking place in 2020 that will set the precedence for decades to come.

While in prayer this morning over the Presidential Primary Elections, I heard the Lord say:

My hand is not too short to save, nor is My arm too short to deliver. You will indeed to see the unexpected take place as a great wave moves across your land. I have watched the injustice continue to wreak havoc and destruction on your land and I am stepping into say, “No more!”

Through all of the trials and suffering, I have been at work even as man continues to desecrate the freedom I have marked America with. For behold, because I love America and do not desire her to perish, I, Myself, am stepping into save her. For I have looked and found no one worthy to defend and protect that which I hold dear. Because of this, I stepped in and put My hand upon her to promote and defend the cause of justice; wrapping myself in a cloak of divine passion! I stepped on the scene and have sought out a righteous remnant to carry forth My cause and to fight for true liberty. I have hand selected My chosen ones from the highways and byways, those of who many have said, “Who are these and where have they come from?”

I am extending My hand of mercy and giving a reprieve. Though the battle is not over, I am showing mercy on America and by this, will continue to expose the darkness with My glorious light! Much can be said of those who take heed of My words and do not slumber in their wake.

Let this be a wake up call to My Church – Refuse to be lulled to slumber and apathy while you are called to be change agents and rebuilders and restorers! But before you become these ones, you must first be changed, rebuilt, and restored to innocence in righteousness again!

Isaiah 59:16-19 (TPT)

“And then He was astonished to see that there was no champion, not even one, who would rescue the oppressed. So then His own mighty power was released to deliver, and His own righteousness supported Him. He put on righteousness as His body armor, salvation for a helmet; a garment of warring vengeance was His uniform and passion, his cape. He will repay wrath to His enemies and retribution to His foes, according to what they have done. Reckoning is coming to the islands for what is due them. From the west to the lands of the rising sun, the glory of the name of Yahweh will be held in highest reverence, for He will break in as a flood, rushing river driven on by the breath of Yahweh!”

Know Him (Your Testimony and God’s Witness) 31/40

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerate and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement.

As we move into the last 10 days of The 40, do not forget to focus your eyes on The King of The Kingdom. He rewards us as we diligently seek Him.  If you are able to give more to The Lord, let’s do it together. He is worth so much more than we could ever give. Let us worship Him in a special way the last 10 days of this fast.

Yesterday’s encouragement was a shift in what God has been speaking and revealing.  God is speaking about seeking Him and growing into the powerful witness, He has created us to be. Over the next several days, we will see how we can become Holy Spirit filled witnesses of the good news!!!

Today, we will start at a place that we are familiar with, but can never be neglected, forgotten or emphasized enough.  We must come to know God more and more and grow in our relationship with Him. When I speak of knowing God, I am not just talking about the head knowledge that we are accustomed with.  I am speaking of the old Biblical sense of know.  “Adam knew his wife and conceived a son” (Genesis 4:1).  This kind of intimate relationship goes far beyond a mental aspect of knowing.  Jesus is the vine and we are the branches without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5).

What is the key to bearing fruit? Abiding, remaining, knowing Him!

This is not a new concept that Jesus brings us during his time on earth. Let’s move back to the prophet Isaiah long before Jesus and see the constant, faithful, unchanging heart of God for us to know Him.

Isaiah 43:1-3 “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior…

God is our creator and redeemer. He has a plan and purpose for designing us and creating us. He has called each one of us by name to come to Him.  We are His.  We may not live walk or act like it, but we have been called and chosen by the Creator of the universe.  He did not make us and leave us on our own, as some believe, but He is always with us.  Even in the darkest, most difficult times in our lives, He is with us!  The flames of the enemy will not destroy us when we are near to Him. When we are near to The Lord we will not be overcome.

Why does He do all these things for us?

He is The Lord our God, our Savior!!! Before we move on, know this, you are never alone when you are seeking The Lord.  It may seem like your prayers are going unanswered.  Situations are difficult, the storms, floods, and fire may be coming against you, but you will stand firm as you stand with God in His strength.  For you are His!

As we walk through the fires, floods, and storms of this life, we have come to know God our Strength, our Sustainer, our Provider, our Savior.  From this place of real life revelation and testimony of what God has done for us, we are called to be His witnesses.

Vs 10-12 “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior. I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the Lord, “that I am God.

There is nothing wrong with Christian apologetics and logical historical evidence that gives witness to the reality of a historical Jesus, but your very life and the testimony of what He has brought you through is an undeniable witness on display that brings glory to God.   The more each of us come to know God, trust in Him, and are transformed into His image, the greater testimony we have. As we come to know Him and our testimony increases, we become growing witnesses to God’s goodness, faithfulness, and are able to give Him greater glory from our lives.  Nothing and no one else can cause such a transformation as has taken place in the lives of those who are daily coming to know Jesus more.

This is the first step of being a Holy Spirit empowered martyr-level witness and my encouragement for you today.  Come to know The Savior, Redeemer, and Sustainer more than ever before.  Come to know Him, and recognize what He has taken you through and out of. This has caused your very life to be a witness of who God is.  You are God’s undeniable witness right where you are today. Never be afraid to share who He is that has done such a mighty work in your life!

Jesus, help me come to know You more than ever before! Thank you for touching, changing, and transforming me from a rebellious, selfish sinner into a faithful, righteous saint. Use my life as a witness and testimony of You for Your glory. Even in the middle of the storms of life, I want my life to radiate Your glory because You are with me keeping me from harm.  I want to be Your witness and testimony in every aspect of my life!

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit to help you come to know Him in a greater way today
  • Remember where you have come from, and what He has brought you out of
  • Thank God for His mighty work in Your life
  • Ask to be used as a greater witness and testimony for His glory

Be blessed today with revelation of the life-changing power of knowing Jesus more. May you see clearly where you have come from and how He has been with you through the journey.  May you be a living testimony and witness that continually gives glory to God!

Catalyst of Change 29/40

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerate and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement.

Well done! We have completed week 4 and moving on to week 5. As we grow nearer to ending the fast, I want to remind you to refocus and recommit to press in to Jesus like never before.  Do not grow weary in well doing, we are not the coasting type of community.  I encourage you not to coast the rest of the way through the fast.  The last 10 days of the fast, let’s really go after what God has for us. Personally, I am being led to go much deeper in the last 10 days and I would invite you to join me, if you are willing.  It is time to increase expectation, increase seeking Him, advance in every area and increase in the spiritual reward of sowing into The Kingdom!!!

A few days ago, I started a discussion, that was not planned, with a word Revelation of The Truth.  This led to the discussion Real Repentance is Real Worship, and now we are finally coming to what we really want to talk about. Revival. This is what we long to happen. We crave for the revival we have heard about and maybe seen in part to come to us, our family, friends, neighborhood, region, and nation.  We hunger for an unprecedented move of God that brings in multiple billion soul harvests!

How will this take place?

What brings revival?

As the revelation of Truth comes forth from God, we must respond rightly in repentance which is an act of worship to God.  This leads to revival taking place wherever we are.  Let’s return to Ezra to find out more. If you remember, the people of Israel were led back to their homeland after release from captivity. They were in bondage because of their constant rebellion against God and his plans. Ezra was the spiritual leader at this time and Nehemiah was more of an administrative leader who was walking deeply with The Lord!

Ezra 9:4-5 Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel assembled to me, because of the transgression of those who had been carried away captive, and I sat astonished until the evening sacrifice. At the evening sacrifice I arose from my fasting; and having torn my garment and my robe, I fell on my knees and spread out my hands to the Lord my God…

The remnant of God’s people that were allowed to remain in the land had continued in the same sins that had led the people into captivity in the first place.  The revelation of truth had been so implanted in Ezra’s heart that when he saw the people engaging in rebellion and sin it shocked and grieved him to his very core. He quickly goes to God in humility, repentance, and fasting. It seems he is so grieved that he cannot even pray for the rest of the day. When he is finally able to speak, thus is a small part of his prayer of repentance:

Ezra 9:8-9 And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage. For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

Ezra acknowledges his sin and the sin of the people, but also recognizes that even in the midst of their bondage to sin, God has given them “a measure of revival”.  There was a righteous remnant in Israel that was seeking the Lord. Even though the majority of the people were living in continued disobedience and rebellion, the people of God seeking Him and crying out for mercy brought about a revival and restoration in the land that would not have taken place any other way.  They had been given favor, protection, direction, and provision not only to return to their homeland, but to repair the house of God and rebuild the ruins of their city.

Ezra 10:1-2 Now while Ezra was praying, and while he was confessing, weeping, and bowing down before the house of God, a very large assembly of men, women, and children gathered to him from Israel; for the people wept very bitterly. And Shechaniah… said to Ezra, “We have trespassed against our God… yet now there is hope in Israel in spite of this.

Ezra and the people all have the same revelation of truth. However, Ezra and a few certain others are the righteous remnant that see the sin and seek the Lord in humility, repentance, fasting, and prayer.  They are walking in a small portion of revival even though the rest of the people are still in bondage to their sin. Ezra and the remnant’s example of right response, repentance, and revival of heart and soul lead the people to repentance themselves. As they gather in weeping, repentance, and worship before the Lord, one of the leaders gains the revelation that there is hope for revival for them all right where they are.

This is my encouragement for all of us today. We have constant revelation of Truth from Holy Spirit as we seek Him.  May we seek to respond rightly in repentance, confession, and worship. As we do this, we will be walking in revival in our own lives no matter what may be going on around us. Walking continually in this place, God is able to use us as catalysts to bring about revival in those around us. May we all walk as the catalysts of revival in The Kingdom, sons and daughters that we were created to be.

Jesus, I desire to be your true child constantly moving forward in right response to Your continuous revelation. As I walk out revival right where I am, use me as a catalyst for change in the world for Your Kingdom!

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit to help you stand firm and walk out the revelation of a Truth he has given you
  • Acknowledge sin and weakness and bring these to him in repentance and confession
  • Act in the obedience of standing firm in seeking Jesus and walking with Him

Be blessed to receive new revelation of Truth today, walk in the right response of repentance and worship, and be a change agent of revival right where you are as God accelerates His Kingdom in and through you!

I Need Help! 26/40

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerate and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement.

Here we are on day 26.  Let’s remember to continue to walk in humility, repentance, and constant prayer as we move toward the completion of week four. This is not where we have started and this is not where we end.  We are right in the middle of where God wants us to be.  You can do it!  Go ahead and press on through it!

In a place of humility, as well as being strengthened by Holy Spirit, you must never be afraid to ask for help. The individual self-sustaining mentality especially in The West is that you must do it yourself, and it is a shame and disgrace to ask for help.  However,  we all get to a point beyond what we can do in our own strength, physically and spiritually, and that is when we must go to The Lord and others to ask for help.  It should never be an issue when we ask for help as long as we are pressing in to The Lord and seeking Him. Then, when we ask for help, we are asking others to press in to The Lord with us and help us out with what they can do in the physical or spiritual.

Even when we are being obedient to The Lord and doing everything right, we will still need help to overcome the insurmountable obstacles of the world. We go to God first, but must not overlook the fact that God has placed us where we are in community with others to help us.

Jehoshaphat was king of Judah at a time when it was not exactly popular to serve God. He reigned in Judah at the same time as King Ahab and Jezebel in Israel. His righteousness and faithfulness caused him to outlive the rulers of Israel’s wickedness

Jehoshaphat is walking with The Lord and bringing great spiritual reformation to Judah so, of course, the blessing and favor of God is upon him and he has no problems.  Right?  Let’s look at what takes place in today’s reading:

2 Chronicles 20:2 Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is En Gedi).

Three pagan kings see the blessing of God on Jehoshaphat and gather together to come plunder and destroy him and all of Judah.  A message is brought to him that there is a great multitude coming against him.

Vs. 3-4 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord .

Jehoshaphat was a real man, and when this great multitude came against him, the enemy tried to bring in a crippling spirit of fear to overwhelm him before the battle even took place. He was not without fear, but recognizing his fear, Jehoshaphat set himself to seek the Lord.  Then, he gathered together all of Judah to humble themselves in prayer and fasting in asking The Lord for help.  This was the proper response.  Jehoshaphat goes to God himself and realizes this is bigger than just him.  Because of this he calls the whole land to help him in seeking The Lord together. There is great power that comes from seeking The Lord together with others.  That is one reason why we are joining together as a community, literally all over the world, seeking The Lord as one.

During this time of prayer, fasting, and seeking The Lord together, Holy Spirit comes upon Jahaziel and the word of God comes forth:

Vs. 15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

God uses Jahaziel to strengthen and encourage not just Jehoshaphat, but the whole assembly not to fear. Because they have come to God together and placed the situation in His hands, He will now take care of it.  Judah got what they were looking for, but they did not leave and get back to their daily work they had forsaken to come together.  They continued in humility and worshiped The Lord.

Vs. 18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord .

They worshiped before the victory took place. They chose to worship at the simple word that was brought forth. Even beyond this, they decided it was time to put true faith into action.  If this is God’s battle, we are going to do something truly radical.

Vs. 20-21 …Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord , For His mercy endures forever.”

I want to point out that God did not tell them to send the worshippers first.  This was not a word of The Lord, but this was pure faith that God would do what He said.  The people are so assured of The Lord’s faithfulness to complete His word that they place the worshippers in front of the warriors. If this is The Lord’s battle, He will go before us and defeat the army, and we will come after him and worship him for the victory.  Somehow, the fear that once gripped Jehoshaphat has turned into faith in action as he has asked for help from God and his community.  This is the result.

Vs. 22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.

Here was God working a mighty sign and wonder for his people because they had joined together, strengthened each other, and acted in faith as one.  This was all a result because one man asked for help in the most overwhelming situation. God and his community joined together to rescue Jehoshaphat from the place of fear and helped walk with him into victory.

Here we are today, every single one of us have situations in our lives that we have been humbling ourselves, praying, fasting and seeking the Lord to change. Lost family members, demonic attacks on health, depression, fear, oppression and so many more supposedly insurmountable obstacles ominously overshadow us every day.  It is time to ask for help first from God, and also the community of faith around us that God Almighty will speak and work in a way we have not yet seen.  I encourage you, you are not alone! If you would like this community to be praying for you, please send us a message or leave a comment below.

Jesus, I need Your help! I choose to come to You as my strength and my rescue. Raise up a community of faith around me that I can join in seeking You together and that community victory may take place in mighty ways all over the world.  Help me to join with You and others in walking out faith in action and seeing Your glory manifest that we may worship You together in deeper ways than we ever thought possible!

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit for help
  • Ask Him to raise up your community of faith
  • Ask this community to join you in seeking The Lord
  • Apply faith in action to the word and promises He speaks

Be blessed today to see the God of Victory made manifest to destroy and decimate the overshadowing mountains of difficulty that have arisen around you.  May you be quick to run to Him for help.  May a community of faith arise around you to join with you in seeking The Lord and seeing His promises manifest in a special way!

Angelic Empowerment 12/40

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerate and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement

As we proceed into day 12, I want to continue to encourage you to make special time, maybe even some extra time, to pray and seek the face of The Lord.  Often, we can get into routines in life, even with fasting, that cause us to pass over the true blessings that come.  I remind you, fasting is never mentioned in the Bible without prayer, humility, and repentance unless it is demonic fasting.  Try fasting a little sleep in the morning and getting up a little earlier to spend special time seeking The Lord.

We do not realize the true power we have here on earth.  Originally, dominion of the earth was given to Adam.  Adam forfeited this power to the enemy when he sinned in the garden, but Jesus gained the power and authority back after rising from the dead.  Through Him, we now have all power and authority in heaven and on earth.  Because of this, we have the ability to empower angelic forces.  Let’s take a look at this passage:

Daniel 9:3-4 Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments,

Here, Daniel has come before The Lord in repentance, humility, fasting, and prayer.  He is crying out for revelation for what is about to happen to him and his people.  He comes in the right way with a humble heart and begins to seek God.  Vs. 5-19 record his humble prayer of repentance for his people even though he is probably the most faithful and righteous of his people at the time.  He owns the sin of his people, confesses it, and repents.  Immediately following this, an interesting thing happens.

Daniel 9:20-21 Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God, 21 yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

Gabriel, the messenger, comes to deliver the answer to what Daniel is seeking.  What I would like to point out is the phrase “being caused to fly swiftly”, some translations may say extremely exhausted.  Whatever else is taking place in the Heavens, we find out later there is war, and Gabriel is worn out.  However, he is caused to receive strength to bring that which Daniel is seeking.  Daniel is not praying to empower the angelic, but his prayers of humility and repentance, aligned with the heart of God, give the angelic messenger strength to bring forth that which he was praying for.

Do your prayers empower the angelic?

Are you seeking God with humility and repentance?

You the child of God have special access to The Father.  You have the right to come boldly before The Throne of Grace. You have been given every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.  However, you cannot obtain these by works or spiritual pride.  You must come humbly in repentance, fasting and prayer to receive all that The Father has for you.  I will leave you with this scripture to reflect upon:

James 5:16 The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

Humility, repentance, fasting, and prayer should be part of the lifestyle of the people of God.  As we walk out this lifestyle, our prayer will be heartfelt and persistent and we will truly become the righteous believers we were called to be.  Our prayers have great power and are empowering the angelic for the work they were designed to do.

Jesus, I desire to come to You continually with a heart of humility and repentance.  Because of Your blood, I enter boldly into Your presence and receive the power and authority that has been given to me.  Help me to live a lifestyle that will allow You to release the angelic to work in my life and the lives of those around me.

Practical –

  • Commit some extra time to seek the Lord during The 40
  • Ask Holy Spirit to reveal specific areas, for you to bring before Him in confession and repentance.
  • Ask Him for wisdom, understanding, revelation, and might.

Be blessed to continue to walk in a lifestyle of humility and the heart of God.  May you forever be empowering the angelic as you come boldly and rightly into His presence!
