Receive Your Inheritance

Word of the Lord

Keep seeking Me. Keep seeking My face. I am bringing forth divine revelation on the heels of an awakening. For far too long, many have wasted time and their focus on unprofitable, meaningless things. Things that bear no eternal significance; they are just distractions. There are occurrences happening in the nations that require divine attention and action. There are injustices that for far too long My children have remained apathetic to. I have the power to and am fully capable of responding to these things. However, it is My desire that My children partner with Me and do their part to see these injustices made right.  It was always My will to do things together with My creation, not apart from. When partnered with Me, the gap between nations will be bridged and the river from My Throne will flow from Heaven into the earth, bringing healing to the nations.

Indeed, dry bones and smoldering flames are bring awakened and reignited with fresh fire from above. No longer will there be resistance to the free move of My Spirit. A Third Great Awakening is on the move! Will you choose to be a part of the mighty wave that is coming? Or will you drown under the weight of it? Yes, it is a conscious choice to catch the wave. It will not buckle under the ‘authority’ of your religion. It will envelop it and crush it, as the Egyptians were swallowed up in the Red Sea.

A rumbling has been shaking the ground as My creation groans for revelation of sons and daughters to rise up and take their place. What would appear as natural disasters is really the uncontrollable and uncontainable cry of My creation coming forth in the absence of the cry of My sons and daughters. Do not let the rocks cry out for you; rise up and take your place sons and daughters! The earth cannot help but to scream forth. It cannot help but to ooze praise and bow down before Me. Can you? Or have you gotten so lost in the sea of blindness?

Awake you who slumber! You have the power to redeem the time lost. Yes, you have the power to reverse time and change the things to come; for as you come to Me, I will respond and turn it all around! Oh, what joy for those who take hold of Me and refuse to let Me go! They will receive a double portion inheritance!

Genesis 32:24-26

This left Jacob all alone in the camp, and a man came and wrestled with him until the dawn began to break. When the man saw that he would not win the match, he touched Jacob’s hip and wrenched it out of its socket. Then the man said, “Let me go, for the dawn is breaking!” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Ephesians 5:14-17

for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.

Luke 19:40

He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!” Jesus replied, “I tell you, if these people keep silent, the stones will cry out in praise!”

2 Kings 2:9

When they came to the other side, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me what I can do for you before I am taken away.” And Elisha replied, “Please let me inherit a double share of your spirit and become your successor.”

No Separation

Daily Encouragement –

My child, My desire is to have no separation in our relationship, no walls, no religious ceremonies, no men of renown. I have removed all restriction and have made the way for you to walk in complete righteousness and holiness. I have made the way for you to come to Me.

You have placed limitations and restrictions on Me. The religion of man has held you back from entering fully. Choosing the things of the world over Me keeps Me from moving the way I want and being as close as I desire.

I have made the Way to overcome all these things. Come to Me as you are, and we will work it out together. I am completely invested in you and know that everything will work out right. I love you My child!!!

2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Press In to Press On

Belize Day 6 –
Emerging from our shelter we were greeted with an unfamiliar sight.  Trees as large as houses were strewn everywhere. Branches and leaves had been stripped from the trees and scattered on every inch of the ground.  With the welcome morning light, this is what our eyes came upon.  A new world lay before us, somehow similar to the old, but oh so different.

Some of us got to work cleaning up immediately and others went off to sleep in their beds and make sure their rooms were not torn apart.  We had a lot of things get wet in our room and some leaves had blown in, but besides that not much trouble.  The power being out is inconvenient for a lot of people, but just another effect of the storm. We worked all morning to pile branches and leaves. Sometime during the night, Santi had forgotten to move his vehicle to a safe place and it had been partially crushed by a monstrous tree.  The highlight of the morning was when we were finally able to get the tree off the truck and see that it was dented and had some broken windows but was still usable.

Our next task was to clear the downed power lines so that we could get them repaired. Along, the way, we repaired the horse pen while many continued to stack the seemingly endless supply of broken branches and downed trees.  By lunch, most were exhausted and I had to sleep for a few hours.  After a quick nap, I got back to work until dinner when I found out that Sarah was apparently suffering from heat exhaustion and lack of sleep.  I know she worked just as hard as, if not harder than, the majority of the guys and never took a break for water or anything.  She was paying for it. Heidi and I went and prayed for her, and we saw an immediate improvement.  We sat around for about an hour around a candle talking and finally turned in for the night.  This has become a rather interesting real mission trip that most people were unprepared for.
Interestingly, a day or two before I left for Belize, God had spoken something to me during my prayer time.  I was praying and preparing spiritually for the trip and got a strange impression.  It was not even what I would call a word, but I felt as if this mission would be more than what we knew or expected and that we may not come back when we planned on it.  I know now that it was God, but then I had this feeling that this trip was going to be bigger than anyone expected and that something was going to happen that no one planned on or prepared for.  Like I said, it was not clear enough for me to tell the leaders, but it was this nagging thought.  I was unsure of what to expect or if I was just being silly, but I made plans in the physical to have everything taken care of in case I did not come back when I thought I would.
Now, I know that was a word from the Lord.  I doubt any of us would have gone if we had known that we would be in the middle of a hurricane.  However, God was preparing me even before the trip for unexpected things that would take place.  Even on my 28th mission trip, God is still giving me adventure and allowing me to experience something I had never done before and may never do again, endure through a hurricane.
Devotion –
These are difficult times that we all live in.  God has chosen you to live at this time and He gives you everything that you need to succeed.  The more troubling things that are around you, the closer you need to get to Him!
Press into Him and He will give you the ability to press on no matter the lack of sleep, uncomfortable conditions, pain, or whatever you may be going through.
Interestingly, God revealed to me something that I never really could have known or been prepared for, experiencing a hurricane, during my time with Him.  I was close to Him even before the hard times came, and because of this, He was able to prepare me for the unknown hard times to come so that I was ready to endure when the time came.  This demonstrates how important it is to press into Him during the easy times as well as the difficult.
Challenge –
Today, ask God to help you to come closer to Him than ever before.  As you do this, look for the encouragement, strength, and life that will come as a result of deepening devotion and intimacy with Him!!!

Exciting English Adventures – Video Update #5

Our time in England was awesome and filled with tons of ministry opportunities! God moved in powerful ways and is stirring up revival, giving us a part in pioneering the way for it!
Check out what England was all about for us!

Finding Fulfillment

We were given the privilege recently of partnering with a ministry here in Newcastle called Street Pastors (http://newcastle.streetpastors.org.uk/). Street Pastors is a ministry that pairs with the local police on Friday and Saturday nights from 10 pm to 4 am to attend to the homeless and people partaking in the nightlife here. Newcastle is known to be the 8th largest party city in the world. People from all over England and even the bordering nations travel here to enjoy the wide variety offered up for entertainment and fulfillment.

We met up the day after New Year’s with the team we would be venturing out with to pray and prepare for the night. We had been told that this night would be rather quiet because everyone would have gone out the night before to celebrate and party it up, spending all of their money. We spent the first part of the night walking around giving candy bars and blankets to the homeless people along the streets, of whom many are very acquainted with Street Pastors and among seeing the bright yellow vests and jackets, flocked to receive a gift.

At midnight, we encountered a woman with her 7 year old son who had traveled to Newcastle to visit the city. She didn’t research travel times to be able to get back home so they had missed the last of every form of transport home. After many attempts to contact people, we ended up taking them to the police station where they could stay warm and wait until morning to get home. The leaders of the team spent time with them and talked with them for a long time learning about them. As the night went on, we encountered a group of drunk young men who prevented us from watching after a young girl passing by dressed in as little clothing as possible who was oblivious to her surroundings. They asked about our beliefs, about Jesus and some in a mocking tone. We realized it was a distraction from the enemy that caused us to lose her when they began speaking derogatory words about myself and the woman leader.

I was able to assist a girl who was drunk and walking across the slick street in 6 inch heels who tripped and face planted on the ground. She was intoxicated enough to not feel any pain through laughter though I wouldn’t be surprised if she gave herself a concussion. I gave her a pair of flip flops so she could walk safer and she found it more necessary to eat that get medical help. The last 30 minutes were so eventful that there almost weren’t enough of us to attend to every situation. As a bar was closing, I saw two girls carrying their heavily drunk friend who could barely open her eyes, who was crying and in pain. She had no shoes on so I gave her a pair of flip flops and found out in seeing the massive lump on her ankle that she fell down a flight of stairs and clearly broke her ankle. After much yelling from her friends, who knew we were good and here to help, we got a cab to the hospital for her since she refused EMTs. As this occurred, another girl behind them punched a young man in the face so the rest of the group was trying to keep him from retaliating. She walked off and punched another man whose friend eventually ordered a taxi to take this angry guy home because he refused to not go after her. We had to call the police to pick her up because she was drunk and vulnerable and another man was trying to pick her up.

One thing I learned from this night is the power the enemy has over hungry souls searching for what only God can give and how degrading of levels he takes them to in false fulfillment. Luke 8:4-15 was brought to life before me in reference to the Parable of the Sower. The seeds that fell among the thorns are those who hear the Word but quickly it is choked out by the cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches and the pleasures of this life. It was a joy to share the love of Christ to those who are lost and need to know the depths of this love. James 1:27 says “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.”

Are you living out this verse to the fullest? If not, what ways can you spread God’s love through serving? If so, is there a new way that you can live it out?
