Increase Expectation 25/40

You are invited to join us for The Propel Fast! Please review Propelled To The Next Level and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement!

Here we are at day 25!  It is hard to imagine before The 40 that we could be so far in and a little over two weeks from completing the commitment God has placed in our hearts.  The spiritual benefits that come from the daily overcoming of obstacles to remain faithful in worship to The King of The Universe will one day astound us all.  Never give in to the fleshly desires now in exchange for the eternal reward that is being built up for you and everyone around you.  Let’s press on and press in together.

By this time, the weight of the impossible has probably tried to crush you or in the very least discourage you.  Several people have indicated to me this week that they were worried about me physically.  One even said that I was crazy and out of my mind.  However, as long as we are partnered with Jesus and what He has for us, I would rather be walking in the mind of Christ than my own mind anyway.

It should not be a surprise to any of us that trusted spiritual and especially worldly influences around us do not understand the depth of what is taking place.  The God of great grace and mercy has called us out, or we have submitted to Him out of worship, in order for the impossible to take place.  When God moves, it is not understood completely by the most spiritual people we could ever think of.  We desire the perfect grace and mercy of God to be made manifest in us, our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, regions, and nations.  As much as we think we may understand Him and His ways, we do not.

We can see clearly that hunger and expectation has the ability to change the situations around us.  The woman with the issue of blood (Luke 8:43-48) only wanted to get close enough to touch Jesus’ garment.  She did what was illegal and could have gotten her stoned to death by pushing, maybe even crawling, through a crowd of people and just to put her “unclean” hands on Jesus.  It was her hunger and expectation that drove her to do what others would not.  This was the faith that healed and restored her.  This is where we are today. We are all believing for the “impossible” things to happen for the glory of God!

But what if these things do not happen during or after The 40?

What if we go through The 40 and do not see anything change?

What if our hunger and expectation are seemingly not rewarded?

Take heart, my brothers and sisters, this will align us on the same level as one “after God’s own heart”, David.  David was hand picked by the Lord and anointed to be king long before it actually takes place. David has to live a life of character and actually doing the job of the king, like challenging Goliath, before he ever saw the promotion that God had anointed him for.  Eventually, he became king and did great for a while.

However, it seems David had a weakness for women.  Because David decided to give in to this weakness just one time, it led him to deception, adultery, murder, and pain.  The prophet Nathan reveals that God has seen it all and finally David repents.  What is the judgment for all of this sin? David’s recently born son would die. This is where we pick up in the scripture reading for today:

2 Samuel 12:15-16 And the Lord struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it became ill. David therefore pleaded with God for the child, and David fasted and went in and lay all night on the ground.

Even though David knew he deserved the judgment and punishment that God had said, he increases his expectation that God’s great mercy and grace is greater than his sin.  David comes in humility, prayer, and fasting and cries out to God for mercy for his baby.  He does this for 7 days until the baby dies.  His servants do not even want to tell him that his baby has died because they are unsure what he will do when he finds out the worst has happened.  David’s hopes, desires, and expectations for the life of his baby because of the mercy of God are about to be crushed.  What will his response be?

I do not know what the physicians were telling him and Bathsheba, but God had told him the baby would die.  That seems to be a very definite thing to me.  Surely, trusted and godly people came in after a few days of prayer and fasting and felt the need to prepare him for the worst.  There was no reason for him to expect that God would do anything different than He Himself had said.  However, David increased expectation in The God of grace and mercy. Throwing himself at the feet of The Great Shepherd and walking through the valley of the shadow of death, David is rewarded with seemingly nothing.  Here is David’s response when he finds out this baby is dead:

Vs. 20 So David arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes; and he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. Then he went to his own house; and when he requested, they set food before him, and he ate.

He cleans himself up, puts on his best worship attire, and goes to The house of The Lord and worships.  Great expectations unmet did not crush David and cause him to turn away, but causes him to be able to praise through the pain of unmet expectation.  This does not make sense to anyone and they ask him about it.

Vs. 21 Then his servants said to him, “What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive, but when the child died, you arose and ate food.”

His expectations and prayers were unmet, and he chose to worship and adore God anyway because he knew His God. The Great God of Mercy and Grace was still the same whether David got what he desired or not.

Vs. 22-23 And he said, “While the child was alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, ‘Who can tell whether the Lord will be gracious to me, that the child may live?’ But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.”

David knew the value in hunger and increasing expectation to work mighty things in the heavenly realm.  It had not happened the way he wanted.  However, because of a right heart of hunger and expectation to pray the greatest prayer he could think of, he was prepared to praise even through the pain.  Immediately after this, Solomon is born and God names him Jedidiah which means beloved of the Lord. David’s hunger and expectation caused a blessing to take place that was not the way David prayed or wanted, but came about at a different time and different way.

This is the kind of hunger, expectation, and faith that I want!

No matter the difficulties, trials, and impossibilities that we bring to the Lord during this time, may we all increase our hunger and expectation to see the impossible made manifest into reality. Even if these things do not take place how we want or think they should, we must pray for the best and cry out to God. Today, increase your hunger and expectation and may this increase your worship through both met and unmet expectations.

Jesus, increase my hunger and expectation today. I want to have faith for the impossible miracles to take place no matter what I see or hear.  Help me to trust You to bring about the greatest good as my expectations are increased, and I cry out to You for the greatest good. Help me to never be discouraged or back down from believing the best no matter what I may see with my eyes or hear with my ears.

Practical –

  • Take a good look at what you are praying for.
  • Ask Holy Spirit to help you increase expectation and hunger to believe in the greatest possible good
  • Ask for strength, grace, and mercy for the faith to continually believe for the impossible
  • Ask for worship and fresh faith to replace discouragement or unbelief that tries to come in

Be blessed with an exponential increase of expectation and hunger to continuously believe for what seems impossible to man. May all discouragement and unbelief be replaced with worship and even more increased expectation because of new revelations of The Great God of Mercy and Grace in your life..

Jeremiah, Man on Fire!!!

From Smoke Screens to Birthing Things

While in an intense season of prayer and fasting in this last year, the Lord brought me into a time of great revelation-knowledge day in and day out. It was in that time that He spoke the following word to me and He has now released me to share it. This is what I heard Him say:

“The labor has been long and hard. The coming birth is long OVERDUE! The baby has grown so large that it will take one hard push to be cast forth. BEAR DOWN! The enemy has seen the size of the promise and has tried to snuff out its life every step of the way…Clouds of heaviness, complacency in spirit, fear rumbling as he speaks death.

My Holy Spirit will be your midwife to guide you through the final pushes. YOU ARE ON THE CUSP OF DELIVERY! The Ring of Fire has been all around you, the intense waves of burning and opposition coming against you. But I declare to you: TRANSITION IS HERE AND YOUR BULGING WATERS ARE BURSTING, THAT YOU MAY GIVE YOUR FINAL PUSHES.

As you enter into the final phase, DO NOT GIVE UP, DO NOT LOSE HEART OR YOUR FOCUS FOR THE OVERFLOW IS JUST ON THE OTHER SIDE OF YOUR EFFORTS FOR MY KINGDOM!

Yes, give your final pushes and BE AMAZED at how I EKBALLO My Revival, My Outpouring, My Promise!

Do you hear it?! Do you hear the sound of My babe coming forth?! Do you hear the roar from the lungs of a nation receiving the Light of Life? Everything I do is great! EVERYTHING I FORM AND FASHION TOGETHER IS BIGGER THAN YOU THINK!

BEHOLD! I have set up and established a treasure trove of fruit from the promises I implanted in your heart. Now they have taken root, grown, developed, and are manifested before your very eyes! Reach forth and take hold of your special treasure, My Beloved!”

As we begin our transition into the Hebraic New Year, 5780 at the end of September, I believe that we are entering into a season of birthing the promises of God that have long been cultivated and become deep-seeded in the hearts of His Bride. I believe the Lord is saying in this crucial transition hour:

“The past seasons and years even, for many it seemed as if the promise would never come to fruition. Some even began to doubt the word spoken to them and if they had heard correctly or if they had missed a step along the way. The witchcraft and bombardment of the enemy of your souls had caused all focus to be lost in the thick cloud of the fallout. The heavy warfare and opposition had left many feeling disoriented and caused the focus of many to become askew and out of focus, lacking clarity. This co-ordinated attack was intended to stall the delivery and to allow for time to suffocate the promise in the middle of the birthing.

I say to you…It is time to SHAKE OFF THE DUST of the past season and to rise up and discern the hour that quickly encroaches!

Do you not perceive it? Do you not feel it? The rumbling and groaning arising even now for the fulfillment of the seeds of promise?

DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO BECOME LOST in the shroud of foreboding of the unknown that the enemy is attempting to use as a smoke screen to distract you from the seedbed of Revival sprouting up RIGHT NOW before you!

DO NOT FORGET WHAT I PUT IN YOU AND SPOKE TO YOU! IT WILL NOT BE LONG NOW UNTIL YOU BIRTH THE VERY THING IN WHICH I IMPLANTED IN YOU!

You thought it was far off or that the promise had died in the darkness of the womb; but I have been weaving things together which you have not seen nor perceived! Where it seemed as if all was lost, I was there creating something beautiful and intricate from nothing. My hands were there fashioning a thing too beautiful for words and NOW My Spirit has come to breathe the Breath of Life into the masterpiece I have designed.

You didn’t even know you were still pregnant with a living thing, and SUDDENLY IT MAKES ITS APPEARANCE!

I say to you…FIX YOUR GAZE UPON MY FACE! FIX YOUR GAZE UPON MY EYES OF LOVE AND MIMIC MY BREATHS AS I GUIDE YOU AND LEAD YOU THROUGH THE BIRTHING. STAY FOCUSED ON ME AND LET ALL OTHER THINGS FADE AWAY…REST IN ME AND MY LOVE AND WITHOUT ANY EFFORT OF YOUR OWN, YOU WILL FIND THAT IT IS IN THE REST THAT THE BIRTHING COMES!”

Isaiah 55:10-11 (TPT)
“As the snow and rain that fall from Heaven do not return until they have accomplished their purpose, soaking the earth and causing it to sprout with new life, providing seed to sow and bread to eat. So also will be the word that I speak; it does not return to Me unfulfilled. My word performs My purpose and fulfills the mission I sent it out to accomplish.”

Habakkuk 2:1-3 (AMP)
“I will stand at my guard post and station myself on the tower; and I will keep watch to see what He will say to me, and what answer I will give [as His spokesman] when I am reproved. Then the Lord answered me and said, ‘Write the vision and engrave it plainly on [clay] tablets so that the one who reads it will run. For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time it hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, because it will certainly come; it will not delay.'”

Isaiah 54:1-3 (NLT)
“‘Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband,’ says the Lord. ‘Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.'”

Jeremiah 46:27-28 “But do not fear, and do not be dismayed! For behold, I will save you from afar, And your offspring from the land of their captivity; Jacob shall return, have rest and be at ease; No one shall make him afraid.
28 Do not fear”, says the Lord, “For I am with you; For I will make a complete end of all the nations To which I have driven you, but I will not make a complete end of you. I will rightly correct you,For I will not leave you wholly unpunished.”

Seek out wisdom and revelation and step into your eternal destiny right now! I have such amazing plans in store for you. As important as the things of this world seem to be, the eternal things are so much more important to Me.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (AMP) “For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]! 18 So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.”

Walk with Me

Day 5 – Walk with Me

Key Verse –
1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in [lives in relationship with] Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

“Come on, you can do better than that!”  Your friend says this to you as you continue on. Not wanting to disappoint them, you press yourself harder even though you are already weary and struggling to keep up the pace.  You would never have been able to push yourself this hard, but having your friend with you makes you want to give even more than your all.  They push you to do your best in a way that you never would on your own.

When you have a friend with you to help set the pace and encourage you, you push yourself even harder.  You want to impress them and prove it to them who you really are and that you are worthy of their efforts.  The good thing for you is that living in relationship with Jesus, she is always there to help you walk through daily life.  He walked on this earth and made you worthy of the power and life he has to give.  He sent the Holy Spirit to be with you and help you live beyond what you would be able to on your own.

Have you tried to walk through this life on your own?

Does it encourage you that you are not on your own but can walk with God as your encourager and pacesetter?

God wants you to excel in all things. You can only do this as you walk with Him just as He walks.  He is willing to walk with you and help you in every area of need if you will only ask Him.  He can be your pacesetter and encourager and help you to walk just as Jesus did.

Prayer – God, thank you that you have me the ability to live in relationship with its you. Come and be my encourager and pacesetter. Help me to walk just as Jesus did in purity, power, and pleasing in a Your eyes. I choose to walk with you. In Jesus name, Amen.

Challenge – Commit to live in relationship with Jesus from this day forward and walk with him.  Ask Holy Spirit to reveal to you one way that Jesus walked that you need to work on. Do you need to walk with Him into deeper purity of mind, heart, and body?  Do you need to step more into the power He has for you? Do you need to be more pleasing in what you do, say, and think?  Whatever Holy Spirit reveal, ask Him to help you walk just as Jesus did and how to live it out practically today.

Seek Me

Day 2 – Seek Me

Key Verse –
Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Bam! It hits you hard. Your movie has just ended and as good as it was, all you can think about is finding a restroom and fast!  It hurts to walk normally which you try to do but probably fail miserably as you wrack your brain trying to remember where the restroom was when you came in. In this moment, nothing is more important that finding a restroom.

God wants us to search Him out harder than the restroom in the example above. The promise is that if you seek Him, you will find Him.  It is true that there are so many other things to think about relationships, popularity, movies, Facebook and so much more.  All of the distractions, worries, and troubles of the world can cause you to take your eyes off of what is truly important.

Jesus has the answer to every problem you will ever face. He is calling you to come to Him and wants to be found by you.  Push every other distraction aside and focus on seeking Him out above every other thing. As you do, know that you will find Him and gain all you need to overcome every obstacle you are facing.

What obstacle are you facing today? What do you need from God?
What are some things that are getting in the way off seeking God with all your heart?
What are you willing to lay down so you can receive all that God has for you?

Prayer – God, I need you right now more than ever to help me. I want to find the answer to my problem and victory over my situation. Help me to push everything out of the way and seek you will all my heart. I know that you are my answer and truly need you right now. Help me find you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge – Starting today, ask God to reveal anything that steals your time away from Him. Cut out one of these distractions this week and give the time to seek God.

Grow Together

Daily Encouragement –

I love you My child! I am doing a great thing right now in your midst. Do you not see it? Do you not know it?

I am weaving many people, ministries, bodies… together in unity to accomplish My mission. The good news must be preached in every tongue, carried to every tribe, and everyone must have chance after chance to come to Me. Do not write anyone off but continue with the mission.

Friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances, and strangers are all in need of Me in a deeper way. They may know Me, but how deeply? How deeply do you know Me?

There is a greater level of growth you must come to in Me so you may lead others to this deeper place as well.

You cannot go alone! You not only need Me, but you need others to push you to greater things and pick you up when you fall.

Kingdom advancement is for all of you. Do it together and receive the reward of My Kingdom coming forth in great ways on the earth. I love you My child!

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Hebrews 10:23-25 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
