What’s Next? 41/40

Congratulations! You have made it through The 40.  I pray that you have been blessed, encouraged, and inspired to delve a little bit deeper than you have been before in your walk with Jesus.  I remind you that often the things we were pressing into during The 40 do not always take place in the middle of the fast.  Many times, they begin to evidence themselves afterwards.  So, what now?

Celebration!  After breaking The 40, celebrations are in order. You have committed to and completed something that many will never experience.  Now is a time of celebration and thanksgiving to the Lord.  Celebrate the end of The 40, but also with joy look to what the future will bring!

I encourage you to go back and review Propelled to The Next Level for the reason behind why we began The 40 in the first place.  I believe that as we have continually prepared our hearts and made them right in seeking The Lord over the last 40 days, each of us have been, are being, and will be propelled into new levels with Him.

So, what’s next?

What happens from here?

My fellow believers, let the words of Paul bless us from his encouragement to the church in Phillipi:

Philippians 3:12-16 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do,  forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

You and I have not reached the end of our walk with The Lord.  We have not gone the highest, delved the deepest, or ran as far as we can run with Him.  It is time for us to press on!  Jesus has laid hold of you for His plan and purpose to come about through your life.  It is time to continue on with Him.  Keep moving forward! The high heights we have reached today will plateau and become tomorrow’s valleys compared to what God wants to do in and through our lives.

What is the goal?

What is the prize?

It is more of Jesus!  We cannot get more of Jesus by staying where we are at. We must move more into line with Him.  May our ears be open to hear more of what He is saying, and may we become increasingly obedient to all that He has for us!!!

What is maturity?

We must walk at the level we are at now, never returning to anything of the past.  As we walk in this new place, let’s look to the next level with Jesus.  There is always more!  He always has something greater for us.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

This is my final encouragement for us in The 40, God has so much more for all of us than we could ever imagine.  Their are always new levels, new heights, new mountains to be climbed, new countries to be taken for His name! I encourage you to ever seek Him to take you deeper and do more with your life.  May you say today, tomorrow and every day from here on out, “Here I am, send me!”

Jesus, thank you for your faithfulness to get me through The 40. I celebrate your goodness, peace, strength, and life through every single day.  I desire to walk in this new place you have called me to and to move even deeper with you. I desire to press on and keep moving forward! Help me to advance Your Kingdom in every area and keep moving forward!

Practical –

  • Keep moving Forward with Holy Spirit

Be blessed to walk in the fullness of everything God has called you to at this new level, and may you ever seek to be propelled into the next level with Him!

Jeremiah, Man on Fire!!!

5780 -Arise Mouthpieces of Righteousness!

Yesterday began Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year 5780. While in my time with the Lord early yesterday morning, He spoke a truly exciting word that I realized afterwards was a word for this new year. I began to see what He was speaking taking form as I was caught up into a vision of its manifestation in the earth. Great fire filled my spirit as well as determination to see it come to pass.

I heard the Lord saying:

This New Year brings with it a light and the glory that will shine bright. For from the darkness a great light will shine and those who have been like the blind up on the walls feeling their way around will find their way home again.

As I bellow My name out across the expanse of the heavens in this time, My name will wash a multitude of sins as My blood cleanses and renews.

Truly, I am releasing a wave of divine recompense and it will command and demand a swift change that will turn things around. As you come to and near the light, you will find yourself arising higher upon My Holy Hill and as I roar forth My decree, you will see a swift change and turn.

I will place My decree upon your lips and My roar in your lungs to be My Mouthpieces of Righteousness in the land. You will march forth from My Holy Hill and with lips emblazoned, well roar forth My righteousness in the earth.

A mighty army is arising to take nations and generations into My glory for My glory!

I say, “Where are they who would run with torch in hand and run into the darkness, becoming the embodiment of My Light of Life? Where are the ones who would give up their very lives for this great cause? Where are they who have seen My gaze and whose eyes have become seared with My fire?! Where are they, who all they would see would be marked with My fire?! It is these ones who will not see things as they are, but as they will be and will decree and declare them into existence. Great glory marks the path of these ones who will stop at nothing to bring nations with them to My Holy Mountain.”

As He spoke this word, I felt such a strong pull in the spirit that we would see unprecedented waves of souls in this coming year. That the sound of His roar would suddenly shake the scales off the eyelids of the prodigals and they would come running towards the light He has placed in the hands of His Burning Ones. Like a lighthouse set upon a high place in the deep darkness of the night, the Light of Life would pierce through the darkness and beckon Salvation Come!

He has cultivated a generation of shofars in the wilderness in the past season, who will now emerge to bellow forth the roaring blast of His coming and all will see, hear, and know that the time for returning is now!

Isaiah 42:5-9 (TPT)
Here are the words of the true God, Yahweh, the One Who created the starry heavens and stretched them out. He is the One Who formed the earth and filled it with life. He gives breath to every person and spirit to everyone everywhere.
“I, Yahweh, have commissioned you in righteousness to succeed. I will take your hand in love watch over you. I will give you as a covenant for the people, a walking-light to the nations. Your mission is to open blind eyes, to set prisoners free from dark dwellings, and to open prison doors to those who are held by darkness. I am Yahweh; that is My name. I will not give My glory to another god nor my renown to idols. Don’t you see that what I have prophesied has come to pass? And now I am foretelling the future. I declare it to you before it sprouts up.”

Isaiah 60:1-4 (TPT)
Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you! Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick gloom covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of His glory appears over you! Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day. Lift up your eyes higher! Look all around you and believe, for your sons are returning from far away and your daughters are being tenderly carried home. Watch as they all gather together, eager to come back to you!

For too long many have been delayed and disarrayed in the previous season and the Lord is saying in this New Year, “NO MORE!!!” He is thrusting forth the doors of delay and loosing destiny upon His Bride; everything stolen will be returned with interest. You thought you were in the breaking in the last season; but I say to you, it was only the making!

Isaiah 42:13
Yahweh goes out to battle like a hero and stirs up His passion and zeal like a mighty warrior. Yes, His God-shout is a mighty battle cry; He will triumph heroically over all His foes.

Isaiah 42:16
“I will walk the blind by an unknown way and guide them on paths they’ve never traveled. I will smooth their difficult road and make their dark mysteries bright with light. These are things I will do for them, for I will never abandon My beloved ones. “

Isaiah 60:17b-18 (TPT)
I will install peace and prosperity as your government and righteousness as your overseer. Threats of violence will no longer be heard in your land, nor will destruction and ruin be found within your borders. You will name your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.

As He called forth those whose eyes would be seared with His fire, I was reminded of the total solar eclipse that took place two years ago and the dangers of gazing upon the sun as the moon shifted away from it. Many were left with permanent solar burns on their retinas. Wherever they looked, they would see the shape of the sun when its image was seared into their vision. As we gaze upon The Son, our vision will be seared with His  fire and we will see everything through the lense of His holiness where we will then prophesy it into existence. In this time, there is a special authority being released into the earth to decree and declare and see a swift manifestation unto fruition!

Isaiah 60:19-22
“The sun will no longer be needed to brighten the day, nor the moon to shine at night, for Yahweh will be your unfailing light; your God will be your glory! There will be no more sunsets or new moons, for Yahweh will be your everlasting light and your days of sadness will be over. All your people will be righteous and will permanently possess the land. I planted them there as a tender sapling, the work of My own hands to display My glory. I will multiply the lease of you into a thousand and the weakest one into a mighty nation. I am Yahweh, and when the right time comes, I will accomplish it swiftly!”

You are invited to join us for The Propel Fast! Please review Propelled To The Next Level and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement

It’s day 33 and we are even more free! As we close in on the final week, let’s lift up and glorify our Strength and Sustainer, Jesus. He has made a way for us to continue to love and worship Him in our very bodies.  It is so amazing that He would give us everything we need to glorify Him in a special way, and even in doing this, we are being propelled into new levels with Him. Jesus, You are worthy, and we love You!

We started a few days ago examining the key steps to becoming God’s Witness on earth. The first step is to Know and Grow.  We come close in the secret place and abide in Him. In doing this, we gain The Father’s heart. As we gain God’s desires, we will move to step two.  We ask for the nations as our inheritance and pray for the souls of our lost loved ones, neighbors, co-workers, classmates, and all the people around us. God is not willing that any should perish… (2 Peter 3:9).

Now, we will move to our discussion of step three: speak!  All the time spent in the secret place knowing and growing in God is important.  As this leads us to pray and asking for the lost ones around us to come to Him, this is agreeing with His heart and desires. Next, we must speak out the wonderful works of God. In the upper room in Acts 2 they were praying, humbling themselves, and seeking The Lord. They are asking for Holy Spirit to come upon them that they may be witnesses. Finally, when Holy Spirit comes He causes them to speak out the wonderful works of God. This is what draws others, over 3000 people into the Kingdom. Had Peter never opened his mouth, no one would have known what was going on.

Let’s move to a passage we know well. This is one of the scriptures on the Romans road to salvation, but let’s investigate and discern a deeper meaning.

Romans 10:9-10 …that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation…

Yes, Paul is speaking to the Romans how they can be “saved” but this moves past our first act of coming into the Kingdom into the everyday task of “working out our salvation with fear and trembling“. The Greek word translated save in this verse actually implies continuous salvation, healing, and deliverance. In this sense, each one of us should be getting a little bit more “saved” every day.

How does this happen?

We must move past believing in our hearts to confession, to speaking it out of our mouths. Words have power to bring us to salvation, healing, and deliverance. “Life and death are in the power of the tongue…” (Proverbs 18:21). Paul moves from salvation for self by speaking it out into what we are talking about today.

V. 14-15 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

News flashYou have been sent!  Jesus Himself has sent you. “Go therefore…” Jesus is sending you in The Great Commission to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20).  You are an apostle in the literal meaning of the Greek. You are a sent one. What are you sent to do?  You are sent to bring good news of peace, joy, and life in The Kingdom. When you begin speaking the wonderful works of God from your mouth, salvation will come forth all around you. You are preaching or declaring the testimony of Who God is and what He has done for you. This speaking and preaching causes others to hear, and because of this, people can hear, believe and call on Jesus.

My encouragement for us today is to speak out the wonderful works of God. He has been doing amazing things in all of our lives especially as we have pressed in to Him during The 40. However, these things cannot touch, change, or transform anyone if we do not open our mouths and tell others what has been happening or a Who Jesus is.  It should be as natural as speaking about any other interest in our lives.  In fact, it should be more natural to talk about the one who has supernaturally saved, transformed, and made us new than football or shopping or anything other fading thing of this world.  It is time to speak out the wonderful works of God that we have come to know more and more as we know Him more and are gaining His heart in new ways!

Jesus, help me to know and grow in You. Help me to ask and pray for those around me who do not know You. Give me the joy, peace, and boldness to speak out who You are.  I love you and desire everyone around to experience the increasing freedom, salvation, and healing that I have gained only from knowing You. I want to continually speak forth the amazing life you have placed in me! I have been sent to carry Your good news! May I proclaim it with power for Your glory!

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit to draw you deep
  • Ask for the lost around you and to be God’s witness
  • Speak the wonderful works of God
  • Declare His goodness and good news
  • Ask for greater boldness to speak, declare and do what He has sent you to do

Be blessed today with a BIG mouth to declare the BIG blessings of a BIG God who has done BIG things in your life! May you know Him and His heart and begin to declare the good news and great things He has done like you never have before as you are propelled into the next level with Him!

Help Me 26/40

You are invited to join us for The Propel Fast! Please review Propelled To The Next Level and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement!

Here we are on day 26.  Let’s remember to continue to walk in humility, repentance, and constant prayer as we move toward the completion of week four. This is not where we have started and this is not where we end.  We are right in the middle of where God wants us to be.  You can do it, go ahead and press on through it.

In a place of humility as well as being strengthened by Holy Spirit, never be afraid to ask for help. The individual self-sustaining mentality especially in The West is that you must do it yourself and it is a shame and disgrace to ask for help.  However, at some point, we all get to a point beyond what we can do in our own strength, physically and spiritually, and that is when we must go to The Lord and others and ask for help.  It should never be an issue when we ask for help as long as we are pressing in to The Lord and seeking Him. Then, when we ask for help, we are asking others to press in to The Lord with us and help us out with what they can do in the physical or spiritual.

Even when we are being obedient to The Lord and doing everything right, we will still need help to overcome the insurmountable obstacles of the world. We go to God first, but must not overlook the fact that God has placed us where we are in community with others to help us.  Jehoshaphat was king of Judah at a time when it was not exactly popular to serve God. He reigned in Judah at the same time as King Ahab and Jezebel in Israel. His righteousness and faithfulness caused him to outlive the rulers of Israel’s wickedness

Jehoshaphat is walking with The Lord and bringing great spiritual reformation to Judah so of course the blessing and favor of God is upon him and he has no problems, right?  Let’s look at what takes place in today’s reading:

2 Chronicles 20:2 Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is  En Gedi).

Three pagan kings see the blessing of God on Jehoshaphat and gather together to come and destroy him and all of Judah.  Word is brought to him that there is a great multitude coming against him.

Vs. 3-4 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord .

Jehoshaphat was a real man and when this great multitude came against him, the enemy tried to bring in a crippling spirit of fear to overwhelm him before the battle even took place. He was not without fear, but recognizing his fear, Jehoshaphat set himself to seek the Lord.  Then, he gathered together all of Judah to humble themselves in prayer and fasting in asking The Lord for help.  This was the proper response. Jehoshaphat  goes to God himself and realizes this is bigger than just him and calls the whole land to help him in seeking The Lord together. There is great power that comes from seeking The Lord together with others.  That is one reason why we are joining together as a community, literally all over the world, seeking The Lord as one.

During this time of prayer, fasting, and seeking The Lord together, Holy Spirit comes upon Jahaziel and the word of God comes forth:

Vs. 15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

God uses Jahaziel to strengthen and encourage not just Jehoshaphat, but the whole assembly not to fear. Because they have come to God together and placed the situation in His hands, He will now take care of it.  Judah got what they were looking for, but they did not leave and get back to their daily work they had forsaken to come together.  They continued in humility and worshiped The Lord.

Vs. 18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord .

They worshiped before the victory took place. They chose to worship at the simple word that was brought forth. Even beyond this, they decided it was time to put true faith into action.  If this is God’s battle, we are going to do something truly radical.

Vs. 20-21 …Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord , For His mercy endures forever.”

I want to point out that God did not tell them to send the worshippers first. This was not a word of The Lord, but this was pure faith that God would do what He said.  The people are so sure of Lord to do what he has said that they place the worshippers in front of the warriors. If this is The Lord’s battle, He will go before us and defeat the army, and we will come after him and worship him for the victory.  Somehow, the fear that once gripped Jehoshaphat has turned into faith in action as he has asked for help from God and his community.  This is the result.

Vs. 22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.

Here was God working a mighty sign and wonder for his people because they had joined together, strengthened each other, and acted in faith as one.  This was all a result because one man asked for help in the most overwhelming situation. God and his community joined together to rescue Jehoshaphat from the place of fear and helped walk with him into victory.

Here we are today, every single one of us have situations in our lives that we have been humbling ourselves, praying, fasting and seeking the Lord to change. Lost family members, demonic attacks on health, depression, fear, oppression and so many more supposedly insurmountable obstacles ominously overshadow us every day.  It is time to ask for help first from God, and also the community of faith around us that God Almighty will speak and work in a way we have not yet seen.  I encourage you, you are not alone! If you would like this community to be praying for you, please send us a message or leave a comment below.

Jesus, I need your help! I choose to come to You as my strength and my rescue. Raise up a community of faith around me that I can join in seeking you together that community victory may take place in mighty ways all over the world.  Help me to join with you and others in walking out faith in action and seeing your glory manifest that we may worship you together in deeper ways than we ever thought possible!

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit for help
  • Ask Him to raise up your community of faith
  • Ask this community to join you in seeking The Lord
  • Apply faith in action to the word and promises He speaks

Be blessed today to see the God of Victory made manifest to destroy and decimate the overshadowing mountains of difficulty that have arisen around you.  May you be quick to run to Him for help.  May a community of faith arise around you to join with you in seeking The Lord and seeing His promises manifest in a special way!

Empowering The Angelic 12/40

You are invited to join us for The Propel Fast! Please review Propelled To The Next Level and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement!

As we proceed into day 12, I want to continue to encourage you to make special time, maybe even some extra time, to pray and seek the face of The Lord.  Often, we can get into routines in life, even with fasting, that cause us to pass over the true blessings that come.  I remind you, fasting is never mentioned in the Bible without prayer, humility, and repentance unless it is demonic fasting.  Try fasting a little sleep in the morning and getting up a little earlier to spend special time seeking The Lord.

We do not realize the true power we have here on earth.  Originally, dominion of the earth was given to Adam.  Adam forfeited this power to the enemy when he sinned in the garden, but Jesus gained the power and authority back after rising from the dead.  Through Him, we now have all power and authority in heaven and on earth.  Because of this, we have the ability to empower angelic forces.  Let’s take a look at this passage:

Daniel 9:3-4 Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments,

Here, Daniel has come before The Lord in repentance, humility, fasting, and prayer.  He is crying out for revelation for what is about to happen to him and his people.  He comes in the right way with a humble heart and begins to seek God.  Vs. 5-19 record his humble prayer of repentance for his people even though he is probably the most faithful and righteous of his people at the time.  He owns the sin of his people, confesses it, and repents.  Immediately following this, an interesting thing happens.

Daniel 9:20-21 Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God, 21 yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

Gabriel, the messenger, comes to deliver the answer to the what Daniel is seeking.  What I would like to point out is the passage being caused to fly swiftly, some translations may say extremely exhausted.  Whatever is taking place in the Heavens, we find out later there is war taking place in the spiritual, Gabriel is worn out.  However, he is caused to receive strength to bring that which Daniel is seeking.  Daniel is not praying to empower the angelic, but his prayers of humility and repentance, aligned with the heart of God, give the angelic messenger strength to bring forth that which he was praying for.

Do your prayers empower the angelic? Are you seeking God with humility and repentance?

You the child of God have special access to The Father.  You have the right to come boldly before The Throne of Grace. You have been given every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.  However, you cannot obtain these by works or spiritual pride.  You must come humbly in repentance, fasting and prayer to receive all that The Father has for you.  I will leave you with this scripture to reflect upon:

James 5:16 The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

Humility, repentance, fasting, and prayer should be part of the lifestyle of the people of God.  As we walk out this lifestyle, our prayer will be heartfelt and persistent and we will truly be the righteous believers we were called to be.  Our prayers have great power and are empowering the angelic for the work they were designed to do.

Jesus, I desire to come to You continually with a heart of humility and repentance.  Because of Your blood, I enter boldly into Your presence and receive the power and authority that has been given to me.  Help me to live a lifestyle that will allow You to release the angelic to work in my life.

Practical –

  • Commit some extra time to seek the Lord during The 40
  • Ask Holy Spirit to reveal specific areas, for you to bring before Him in confession and repentance.
  • Ask Him for wisdom, understanding, revelation, and might.

Be blessed to continue to walk in a lifestyle of humility and the heart of God.  May you forever be empowering the angelic as you come boldly and rightly into His presence.

Accomplish The “Impossible” 9/40

You are invited to join us for The Propel Fast! Please review Propelled To The Next Level and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement!

Most of us have started The 40 with high expectations, however, now the real work begins.  The day to day living it out can be hard since we must constantly seek to overrule our flesh and give ourselves to the Lord.

Now is the time to encourage ourselves in The Lord the benefits of keeping The 40 and continuing to walk with Holy Spirit in spite of what our bodies might be telling us.

Prayer and fasting gives us the power to accomplish the “impossible”.  Of course, we know that “nothing shall be impossible with God”, yet we still live our lives with “impossible” situations which do not seem to respond to us.

Jesus’ disciples had this same problem while He was on the mount being transfigured.  A man whose son is assaulted by demons asks for their help.  Though they try, they can do nothing about it.  When Jesus returns, He easily casts out the demons and heals the boy.  He does not seem to be impressed with His disciples’ efforts either.  The disciples come to Him and ask why they could not do the same.  This is His response:

Matthew 17:20 “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

We do not know what was going on in the disciples’ minds, but Jesus did not ever shy away from directly addressing what people said in their hearts.  I believe the disciples did not see a response and had blamed it on not having enough faith.  Jesus directly confronts this with The Kingdom Truth that the smallest amount of faith can do the mightiest things in His Kingdom.  They had let doubt creep in and this kept them from pressing in to see transformation take place.

Then, Jesus says something else interesting that some translations completely leave out.

Matthew 7:21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

What kind is Jesus talking about?

Some would say demons, but I think He is talking about the unbelief.  Unbelief is a pesky little problem that constantly assaults our media-driven culture.  If we cannot see or hear something happening, it is quite hard for us to believe.  We can never see the shifting in the heavens when our eyes are on worldly circumstances.

If unbelief keeps us back from doing mighty work in The Kingdom, we should be quick to follow Jesus’ cure for it, prayer and fasting.  This dynamite duo is able to demolish and disintegrate the demonic unbelief that has built up in our lives.  This is how we say, “God I trust You to take care of the unseen as I partner with You in the physical.  I need you to do the “impossible” work of overcoming these spiritual obstacles in me while I do the possible work, with Your help, of prayer and fasting.”

Jesus, help me to know that you have given me a measure of faith.  This faith has the power to overcome every seeming impossible thing in my life and those around me.  Help me to join with you in prayer and fasting that all unbelief within me will be destroyed and Your mountain-moving faith will be displayed for all to come and glorify You.

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit to reveal the things in your life and around you that you have labeled as impossible
  • Pray that every ounce of unbelief is removed from your life
  • Participate with Him in doing the impossible whatever He shows you to do

Be blessed with the power to remove all doubt and do the impossible as you walk with God in obedience and humility.  May this propel you into new levels in The Kingdom!

The Great Sift for the Shift: The Call to Holiness

There is a great shaking in the Body of Christ taking place in this season. We are seeing many respected leaders falling away and leaving their faith, accusations of misconduct coming forth towards others, and many are in the throes of warfare and demonic opposition. In recent weeks the Lord has put a heaviness upon my heart and spirit towards His holiness; and I have felt extremely led to hide away in the secret place with Him. In the past few days He began to remind me of a number of dreams and words that He gave me drawing towards this shaking that is taking place. I did not understand much of it at the time, however He is beginning to open the eyes of my understanding to see and know what He is speaking and revealing.

In the coming days I will share some of these dreams and words as He leads. I truly believe that we are in a time where God is shaking His Church right-side up and that He is enacting a greater call and command into His holiness. While praying and dwelling on this, I heard Him say:

“There will come a great sift for the shift. Things cannot stay the same and remain as they were; for where I am going, anything that is unclean and unholy cannot enter through the door. The door is narrow and only that which reflects My holiness and glory can enter through it.
Do not be surprised at what you see in the days ahead as I continue the sifting and shaking. I am sifting out all of the junk, the dross that hinders My Bride from entering into true purity and reverence of My name and nature.
No longer can My Bride remain straddled upon an imaginary fence, enjoying the fleeting pleasures of this life while being double-minded and half-hearted. This really is an ALL IN OR NOT IN AT ALL kairos moment in time.
For behold, a door stands before those with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a holy heart of wisdom and understanding. My voice is beckoning them higher into the unseen realm, the realm where Righteousness dwells!
Where are they who would put away the pleasures of this life for that which cannot be taken away?! Where are they who would seek My face above all other earthly things?! Where are they who would be Living Light; manifestations of My holiness in the earth?!

img_6725.jpgMoses never got to feast on the fruits of the land long promised him, nor was he allowed to even set foot in it. He was only allowed to gaze upon it from a distance and had to watch a new generation be risen up to take possession of it.

How could it be that the man whom God had raised up to be a deliverer for His chosen people would never see the fullness of the deliverance?

How could it be that the man whom God refers to as His friend would be the greatest betrayer of his day?

How could it be that the one man whom God allowed into His glory time and time again, whose very face shone with the glory of God, and who met with God face to face, would be removed from that Presence at the end of his days?

God clearly reveals to us the answer in the following passages:

Numbers 20:6-13 (AMP)
Then Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) and fell on their faces [before the Lord in prayer]. Then the glory and brilliance of the Lord appeared to them; and the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
“Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock in front of them, so that it will pour out its water. In this way you shall bring water for them out of the rock and let the congregation and their livestock drink [fresh water].”
So Moses took the rod from before the Lord, just as He had commanded him;  and Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly before the rock. Moses said to them, “Listen now, you rebels; must WE bring you water out of this rock?”
Then Moses raised his hand [in anger] and with his rod he struck the rock twice [instead of speaking to the rock as the Lord had commanded]. And the water poured out abundantly, and the congregation and their livestock drank [fresh water].
But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you have not believed (trusted) Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, you therefore shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them. These are the waters of Meribah (contention, strife), where the sons of Israel contended with the Lord, and He showed Himself holy among them.

In Deuteronomy 32:49-52, the Lord told Moses to go upon a mountain and overlooking the Promised Land; but he would die and never enter it. In verse 51, God says, For both of you betrayed Me with the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate My holiness to the people of Israel there.

When we fail to be a manifestation and demonstration of the holiness of God through our very existence, we have lost our fixation upon the ONE THING.

Things started out great; they went into the secret place and the Presence and Glory of God resonated in their midst. However, Moses lost sight of what God commanded, which was to declare to the rock the promise of living waters that were to come forth.

Moses became more fixated on man and emotions and allowed them to lead him into the grievous sin of attempting to touch God’s glory.

He struck the rock and yes, waters flowed forth; but he disobeyed God and he operated out of self-glory (must WE bring you water out of this rock?”). He performed a sign and wonder out of the anointing without the holiness and glory of God covering it. Therefore, God showed Himself holy among them through the act because Moses did not partner with Him in the miracle.

Sadly, because of that act, Moses’ promise was stripped from him and he was forced to gaze at a distance the Promised Land he gave his life for.

We see in 2 Corinthians 3:13 that Moses put a veil over his face to hide the diminishing glory.

If we take on the likeness of that which we behold, then the glory glow on Moses’ face was a direct reflection and manifestation of that which he beheld as he stood
FACE TO FACE with the HOLY GOD.
In Moses wearing a veil over his face, it was intended to hide the diminishing glory.
The betrayal God is talking about in the passages above includes that Moses failed to demonstrate His Holiness because he began to lose sight of FIXING HIS EYES ON THE HOLY GOD. Out of this failing, HE FELL INTO UNBELIEF.

DO NOT EVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE ONE MAIN THING!!!
FIX YOUR EYES OF JESUS!!!

In Leviticus 10:1-3, Nadab and Abihu disobeyed the Lord by burning before Him the wrong kind of fire, different than He had commanded.” Their disobedience and lack of reverence for what is holy cost them their lives as the fire of God burned them up. Moses told Aaron, “This is what the Lord meant when He said, ‘I will display My holiness through those who come near Me. I will display My glory before all the people.’

We will all face the Holy Fire of God. We will either pass through it and everything unholy will be burned out of us and off of us that we may emerge reflecting the brilliance of His holiness…or we will be consumed by it and lose our place and promise.

We have this great promise and encouragement as we press into the pressing and the forge:
2 Corinthians 3:16-18 (NLT)
But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedomSo all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.

May this be our prayer: “Oh, Holy Lord! Put us in the forge that we may emerge a holy being sanctified and glorified in You! Burn out and off of us anything that would make us an unworthy vessel for Your Presence to dwell in and flow through…at any cost!!! May we not offer up to You strange fire! May we decrease that You may be fully and wholly increased in us and through us all of our days!!!”
