Mexico: Rise Up From the Ashes

Prophetic Word for Mexico- September 20, 2017

The enemy has tried to stake claim of the land and people for far too long. I created Mexico to be rich and lush in vegetation as a way to survive off of the land and to make a living.

The enemy has come in with perversion and migrated from operating in the shadows to out in the open as a scare tactic- trying to appear greater than he is. But he is a coward and a loser!

For look and see what I am about to do! The rocks are crying out for the revealing of My bold and fearless ones to rise up to take back what the enemy has stolen. Even now, My creation is groaning with expectancy and desire for freedom from the curse of the evil one.

See how I am taking the works of the enemy and crushing them underfoot. What was hidden will surely be brought to light and exposed. The light of My Son will shine forth in even the darkest of places where there seems to be no hope and death and destruction seem to run rampant. Every bit of perversion and deception will be destroyed and sent to the dry places never to return.

All of this so that My chosen ones can see My goodness and love for them. For they have said in their hearts that what they see is My punishment raining down on them. This is only so for the evil ones bringing death upon My babies and creation as I turn what the enemy meant for evil gain around for My good. And I love them even still. I am bringing a shifting in the leadership of the nation for they have said that they don’t need Me and have determined to make gods of themselves, lording over the people with evil in their hearts, corrupting the hearts and minds of many.

This will continue no longer. The influence of evil is being decimated and I am raising up ones who desire a life of freedom for the people. Ones who will lead well. All evil and those who do it will be removed one way or another and as a result, the curse being brought forth on the land will be removed and blessings will begin to spring forth. The land will respond likewise with new life being brought forth and a shift in sustaining factors being land-based.

All corruption will cease and nations will no longer fear you, Mexico. They will come to see your light and life and receive an impartation of it for themselves. No longer will they look upon you as the illegitimate child, but as one who remains true to your word and does not cheat to get by. Your gift of hard work will pay off. Many place a stigma on you as ones who do the dirty, cheap work. But I have gifted you with the ability to find beauty in all things and to work hard to make what was downcast and unwanted and to make it beautiful again. Is this not My heart? Rise up, oh Mexico, and take your place!

ISAIAH‬ ‭62:1-9‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“For Zion’s sake I (Isaiah) will not be silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, until her righteousness and vindication go forth as brightness, and her salvation goes forth like a burning torch. The nations will see your righteousness and vindication [by God], and all kings [will see] your glory; and you will be called by a new name which the mouth of the Lord will designate. You will also be [considered] a crown of glory and splendor in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem [exceedingly beautiful] in the hand of your God. It will no longer be said of you [Judah], “Azubah (Abandoned),” nor will it any longer be said of your land, “Shemamah (Desolate)”; but you will be called, “Hephzibah (My Delight is in Her),” and your land, “ Married”; for the Lord delights in you, and to Him your land will be married [owned and protected by the Lord]. For as a young man marries a virgin [O Jerusalem], so your sons will marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God will rejoice over you. On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed and stationed watchmen (prophets), who will never keep silent day or night; you who profess the Lord, take no rest for yourselves, and give Him no rest [from your prayers] until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise on the earth. The Lord has sworn [an oath] by His right hand and by His mighty arm, “I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies, nor will [the invading] foreigners drink your new wine for which you have labored.” But they who have harvested it will eat it and praise the Lord, and they who have gathered it will drink it [at the feasts celebrated] in the courtyards of My sanctuary.”

Stand Fast in Freedom

What a year 2013 was!!! In short it was (Fire by Night and new friends, the Proposal, long months of waiting, Encounter God’s Presence youth camp, confirmation of our calling, marriage, honeymoon in Mexico, beginning of Gibson’s Go Global, flying to NYC on Sept 11, Circuit Riders in Norway, YWAM and Fire Starters in Scotland, Christmas and New Year in Newcastle) not that short. I know for many of us, this was a busy year and we should be able to look back and see how we have changed. If there has been no change between this year and last year, it is seriously time to examine if we are walking in God’s will. I am not talking about a physical location, although in our case it obviously was. I am talking about how you have changed in your relationship with The Lord. I encourage you to review your year with Holy Spirit and see what you find out.

This morning, God has given me an encouragement that I want to pass on to you:
Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
I can see as I look back over my life, even in the last year, how much that God has brought me into greater and greater freedom. He has strengthened us and empowered us to walk in this new freedom. Even when we are tempted to fall back into old things, we have the strength to stand fast!!! We must stand in the freedom that Christ has bought with so great a price and not go back to having bent and broken backs under the weight and oppression of sin that the enemy deceives us into thinking is better somehow. Do not be entangled again, but walk in the glorious freedom that has been given to us!!!

What kind of freedom is this? Unrestrained selfish freedom? Of course not!!! We know that is not freedom but only bondage to ourselves. A few verses later, we see the freedom that is called for:
Galatians 5:13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
This is not a selfish fleshly freedom, but a freedom in Holy Spirit that encourages us to love others in greater and greater ways. We like to explain the freedom of The Lord as we can say, do, watch, listen to whatever we want because we are free in Christ. Through this verse, we see that our freedom is not to be one that satisfies our flesh, but we are spiritually free to love and serve others with our actions. It is such a tragedy in my mind when Christians talk down the standards of other Christians or try to get them to compromise their convictions. There was one instance I know of that everyone was watching a movie with some coarse language. They knew that there was a girl who did not watch or listen to anything with language as much as she could control. Knowing this, the girls apologized to her, but were unwilling to turn off the movie. This was neither loving or serving this girl or the standards Holy Spirit had set up for her. Was this godly freedom? I think not!!! This was the selfish freedom that leads into bondage but no one saw the deception of the enemy.

I am so glad for those who call us to higher standards with their freedom of loving and serving. One quick story, while in YWAM my leader Sage was constantly challenging me in a healthy way. The week before we went to Outreach in Cambodia, we had a team fast. Getting through that was okay, but then he tells me that he is going to do a Daniel fast for the first 40 days of the trip. My thought is “Good luck pal!!!” Then, thinking of all that we wanted God to accomplish and why we were really there, I decided that I would join him. He did not pressure me or even ask me to join him. I was just encouraged to walk with Him in freedom as we loved and served each other. You know I look back now and do not regret one moment of that fast. Yes, it was extremely hard, but I believe that God is worth it!!!

I encourage you as this New Year begins 2014, stand fast in the freedom God has given you and walk in it in such a way that the people around you are affected by the freedom, love, and service you have for them. I pray that those around you who are the closest and those who barely know you will be called to the deeper and greater things of The Lord because of the consecrated life of freedom you are walking in!!!

Imparting Some Spiritual Gift

I know it has been a while since I posted last, but I got married and am on my honeymoon.  Can you blame me?  This morning as I was reading in Romans, something jumped out at me, especially since we have heard God speaking over and over that we are to have a ministry like Paul’s.  Obviously, as I have been reading the writings of Paul, I have been paying close attention to what I can glean from his wisdom and his ministry.  Naturally, I was paying close attention when God began speaking through these two verses.

This is what the verses read: “For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— 12 that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me” (Romans 1:11-12).

Paul did not just have a desire to visit the churches and preach to them, his desire was to come to them and impart something to them.  Specifically, He wanted to impart some spiritual gift to them that they may be strengthened and established.  He longed to bring them what they needed to grow and build the Kingdom of God.  Now, each place that Paul visited was different, and though he was directing this to the Roman church, I can see him speaking this to each one of the churches he was an apostle to.  Each church was different and needed something different to make them strong and established to bear the fruit of the Kingdom.  Even though Paul was an amazing man of God, He did not have everything that all of these churches needed.  Because we are all different and have different spiritual gifts and strengths, each of us have spiritual gifts that make up who we are that are actively imparted just by being around others.  It does not take any work for me to build someones faith because it is something I walk in and impart just by being with them.

However, there are many spiritual gifts that I do not walk in to the fullest and these are not actively imparted just by being around me.  When people or churches need one of these gifts imparted to them, it is a sovereign act of God!  However, it is my responsibility to seek what another person or people need that this gift of God may flow through me.  I am a conduit by which anything I do not have directly can flow straight from the Throneroom of Heaven to those who need it!  If I am living the way I should and seeking that the Lord will use me in the greatest way possible, He will flow through me in great and unexpected ways!!!

Even though this is something that my wife and I have been called to walk in directly as we go around the world strengthening churches, it should never be discounted from our everyday lives.  God has called each and every one of us to use everything we have for His glory and for the strengthening and encouraging of the Church.  When I say the Church, I do not mean any small local body, but the Body of Christ as a whole.  Each and every time we gather with our Christian brothers and sisters, we should be seeking to encourage and strengthen them in the best way possible.

Today, Katie and I have been given the opportunity to visit a local church with our new friend Hector.  It is our desire as we go to be a blessing and impart some spiritual gift to this Mexican church even while we are on our honeymoon.

What have you done today to prepare yourself to strengthen your brothers and sisters in Christ?  What has God given you specifically to pour out on those around you?  What are the things that you directly impart onto those around you just by being near them?  Are you asking the Lord to use you as a conduit and to prepare yourself to pour out the things you do not have onto others?  Ask Holy Spirit to reveal your direct imparting gifts and to strengthen and use you to be a conduit of His Kingdom to be used to pass on anything that others may need!

I bless you with a powerful gift of impartation both of the things that are already in you and the things that others need!!! I bless you to be used of the Lord where you are and always to desire to give out what God has given you to give!!!
