Special Blessing

Daily Encouragement July 7 –

I love you My child! I have granted you a special blessing, to know Me. No other creature has the ability to commune with Me like you. Even though you were wicked and unclean, I desired to be close and intimate with you.

Because of this, I sent Jesus as another special blessing. In believing in the sacrifice of His body and blood, you are able to be made righteous and holy. Now, you are not just able to stand before Me, but now you can come closer and closer and truly come to know Me.

Never forget these blessings or neglect to take advantage of them. Coming close to Me is a blessing I have provided for you because I love you and want to be with you forever. I love you My child!

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

The Importance of The Why

Daily Encouragement –

I love you My child! I am so proud of you! You are growing and becoming like Me a little more each day. I desire for you to walk closely with Me and live in complete obedience because I know what it best.

Know this, the reason behind why you obey is important to Me. You may have started obeying because you knew it is what you are supposed to do, but it means so much more when you obey because you love Me.

Jesus did everything from the right heart, and that is why He was able to walk perfectly with Me. Come to Me, and I will do the work of getting your heart right as long as you are willing. I love you My child!

Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Heart of The Kingdom

Daily Encouragement –

I love you My child! Right now, you have the unique opportunity to be a part of building My eternal Kingdom here on earth. You are My instrument of righteousness as you join with Me that I will use for My glory.  Continue to come near Me and know Me.

Jesus is the heart of The Kingdom. Not only is He the perfect representation of Me, The Father, but the Kingdom is built on and centered around Him.  How He walked on earth is how I want all My sons and daughters to live.

Jesus is the Center and Heart of the Kingdom. In Him, you see My heart of compassion more than any other place in history. This was His motivation and driving force because this is who I am.

Come to Me and receive a fresh revelation and anointing of My love, mercy, and compassion, and you will come to know the Kingdom and walk in it with Me in a deeper way than ever before. I love you My child.

Romans 6:11-14 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Hebrews 1:1-4 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Walk with Me

Day 5 – Walk with Me

Key Verse –
1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in [lives in relationship with] Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

“Come on, you can do better than that!”  Your friend says this to you as you continue on. Not wanting to disappoint them, you press yourself harder even though you are already weary and struggling to keep up the pace.  You would never have been able to push yourself this hard, but having your friend with you makes you want to give even more than your all.  They push you to do your best in a way that you never would on your own.

When you have a friend with you to help set the pace and encourage you, you push yourself even harder.  You want to impress them and prove it to them who you really are and that you are worthy of their efforts.  The good thing for you is that living in relationship with Jesus, she is always there to help you walk through daily life.  He walked on this earth and made you worthy of the power and life he has to give.  He sent the Holy Spirit to be with you and help you live beyond what you would be able to on your own.

Have you tried to walk through this life on your own?

Does it encourage you that you are not on your own but can walk with God as your encourager and pacesetter?

God wants you to excel in all things. You can only do this as you walk with Him just as He walks.  He is willing to walk with you and help you in every area of need if you will only ask Him.  He can be your pacesetter and encourager and help you to walk just as Jesus did.

Prayer – God, thank you that you have me the ability to live in relationship with its you. Come and be my encourager and pacesetter. Help me to walk just as Jesus did in purity, power, and pleasing in a Your eyes. I choose to walk with you. In Jesus name, Amen.

Challenge – Commit to live in relationship with Jesus from this day forward and walk with him.  Ask Holy Spirit to reveal to you one way that Jesus walked that you need to work on. Do you need to walk with Him into deeper purity of mind, heart, and body?  Do you need to step more into the power He has for you? Do you need to be more pleasing in what you do, say, and think?  Whatever Holy Spirit reveal, ask Him to help you walk just as Jesus did and how to live it out practically today.

Follow Me

Day 4 – Follow Me

Key Verse –
John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

“Just follow me, I’ll take you there.” Your friend says this, climbs into their car and the race is on.  Desperately you try to keep up with the speeding vehicle in front of you. You don’t want to lose him because your phone is out of battery and you forgot your charger.  You have no way to get to your destination except by keeping up with your speed demon friend.

In a situation like this, you might be worried that it could be dangerous to try to keep up with your friend or that they might lose you in traffic. This is something you never have to worry about when following Jesus.  He is always with you, and when He calls the you to follow Him, He walks right with you making sure you know which way to go.

Do you feel like you are walking in darkness in some area of your life?

Are you lacking hope or see no end to your troubles?

When you follow Jesus, He promises that He is with you and that you have the light of life.  No matter how dark or hopeless it may seem, Jesus is with you to help you.  If you will follow Him, He will lead you into life, light, hope, and so much more!

Prayer – Jesus, help me to see past the darkness and trouble around me and look to you.  Help me to follow you no matter what life brings. Help me to follow you and know that I have you, all the light, life, and hope I will ever need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge –
Ask Holy Spirit what is the next step you need to take to follow Him.  Often, you will already know what you need to do.  Write it down and decide to do it. Ask a friend or leader to help remind you to take the action you are supposed to.  Step out and follow in action as soon as you are able.

Seek Me

Day 2 – Seek Me

Key Verse –
Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Bam! It hits you hard. Your movie has just ended and as good as it was, all you can think about is finding a restroom and fast!  It hurts to walk normally which you try to do but probably fail miserably as you wrack your brain trying to remember where the restroom was when you came in. In this moment, nothing is more important that finding a restroom.

God wants us to search Him out harder than the restroom in the example above. The promise is that if you seek Him, you will find Him.  It is true that there are so many other things to think about relationships, popularity, movies, Facebook and so much more.  All of the distractions, worries, and troubles of the world can cause you to take your eyes off of what is truly important.

Jesus has the answer to every problem you will ever face. He is calling you to come to Him and wants to be found by you.  Push every other distraction aside and focus on seeking Him out above every other thing. As you do, know that you will find Him and gain all you need to overcome every obstacle you are facing.

What obstacle are you facing today? What do you need from God?
What are some things that are getting in the way off seeking God with all your heart?
What are you willing to lay down so you can receive all that God has for you?

Prayer – God, I need you right now more than ever to help me. I want to find the answer to my problem and victory over my situation. Help me to push everything out of the way and seek you will all my heart. I know that you are my answer and truly need you right now. Help me find you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge – Starting today, ask God to reveal anything that steals your time away from Him. Cut out one of these distractions this week and give the time to seek God.

Most Valuable

Daily Encouragement –

My child, My beloved, do you know how much you mean to Me? I gave the best and most valuable sacrifice so we could be in fellowship together forever. That is how much I value you.

You are not perfect and make mistakes, but that is why I made the way for you to be cleansed, purified, made whole, and perfect. Even though you make mistakes, you will be made perfect through Jesus’ blood if you bring those things to Me. I will clean you and use you as My vessel of righteousness not because of what you have done, but because you come to Me!

I am the One who does it. Listen to my voice. Watch what I am doing. Come and walk with Me. I want the best for you more than anyone else, and I will cause you to succeed. I love you My child!

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

Colossians 1:27-29 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
