Revelation of The Truth 27/40

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerate and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement.

On this day, day 27, we have come to know we cannot walk alone especially in our outlandish commitments to The Lord.  It is by His grace and mercy and walking with a community of faith that we are able to accomplish everything He has for us.  I pray that you have a close community that will be praying and standing with you especially when the enemy comes in to distract, deceive, divide, and destroy.  Please know that this community is here to spur you on to greater love and greater works in The Kingdom. You are not alone!

Something happens when we fast that opens us up to receive in a way that nothing else can. We are caused to look past our own selfish desires and look to God for everything that we need.  We become little by little less self-sufficient and increasingly God-sufficient. He has everything that we need and gladly gives us it all as we seek Him.  It may not come in the time or way that we want, but God’s blessings are continually being poured out upon us, and it is easier to recognize this when we are fasting.

We are going to focus on one of these blessings today: the birthplace of repentance that leads to revival.  We have heard that often a revival of repentance precedes a spiritual revival, but how does a desire for repentance come?  The prophet Jeremiah lived in a time of great rebellion, disobedience, and stubborn hardness against The Lord.  Somehow, Judah thought that since they were God’s chosen people that He would bless whatever they did and be with them no matter what their lifestyle.  Jeremiah was sent to repeatedly warn them to turn from such thinking.  If they would turn from their sin and seek The Lord, He would forgive and truly bless them the way He desired.

This is the setting of today’s reading. Jeremiah is confined and cannot go out to the people. So he writes the words of The Lord and sends Baruch with the revelation of Truth:

Jeremiah 36:6-7 You go, therefore, and read from the scroll which you have written at my instruction, the words of the Lord, in the hearing of the people in the Lord ’s house on the day of fasting. And you shall also read them in the hearing of all Judah who come from their cities. It may be that they will present their supplication before the Lord, and everyone will turn from his evil way. For great is the anger and the fury that the Lord has pronounced against this people.”

Even though the people of Judah are not living according to God’s standard or law, they have regular times of fasting where they would gather at the house of The Lord.  These religious acts did not do much because their hearts were wrong.  Because of this, the full blessing of the Lord could not come upon them.  However, in the fasting, Jeremiah knows they are receptive to the revelation of Truth more than at any other time.  The purpose of the revelation of Truth is to bring the people to repentance.

Vs. 9-10 Now it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the Lord to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem. Then Baruch read from the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the upper court at the entry of the New Gate of the Lord ’s house, in the hearing of all the people.

All the people come together for the religious fasting and Baruch is obedient to do what he is commanded. All the people are gathered in religious fasting in their most holy place, and they receive the revelation of Truth.  The land had recently undergone a reformation and cleansing of the land under the reign of King Josiah, however, they are quick to turn their hearts away again.  They gather to fast, probably instituted by The previous king, but are devoid of understanding and obedience.  Next, we see some of the people and officials response to the revelation of Truth.

Vs. 16 Now it happened, when they had heard all the words, that they looked in fear from one to another, and said to Baruch, “We will surely tell the king of all these words.”

Conviction comes to the hearts of these leaders of the people in such a way that they know they must present this revelation to the king.  They are truly convicted by this revelation of Truth and bring it to the King.  It seems the king is convicted by these words as well, but his response is anger not repentance. He cuts up the scroll, burns it, and tries to have Jeremiah and Baruch killed.  Sadly, even after the revelation of truth brings conviction to some and the people are already gathered in fasting, repentance never comes and Judah goes into captivity not long after this.

As we continue in fasting and prayer, God will bring continuous revelation of Truth as we seek Him.  However, we must be quick to repent in every area we are out of line and come to Him.  In this way, revelation of Truth leads to repentance, and repentance brings revival.  The revelation of Truth cannot bring revival on its own.  Our hearts proper response to this revelation will be repentance for our own actions, and the lifestyle of our people.  This proper response by us will lead to a change in the people around us, and then God can send a mighty revival to the land.

My encouragement for today is to continue to set your heart to seek God.  As you do, be carefully listening for Him to bring the revelation of Truth, because it will come.  As these words come may your heart be soft and pliable to align even more fully with God’s great purpose and plan.  A right heart response to the revelation of Truth will be repentance that leads to revival.  Even though it may seem that this revival is only taking place within you at the moment, know this.  Revival within you will come out of you.  The people with revival continually flowing inside them are the ones that God uses to ignite revival in their families, regions, and nations. These are the ones that are accelerated in The Kingdom.  This is who we are designed to be!

Jesus, here I am Your child. I come to You and ask for new revelation of The Truth. I know that You are The Truth, and I am asking for new revelations of You. As this revelation occurs, help me to be able and willing to align myself even more fully with You. Give me a heart of repentance for every area that is out of order, and bring me into a revival of relationship with You. Jesus, give me new revelation of who you are and draw me closer than ever before!

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit for revelation of Truth
  • Ask Him to give you a soft and pliable heart
  • Walk in a heart of repentance
  • Align yourself to obey all He asks of you

Be blessed to receive continuous revelation of Truth. May you receive revelation that leads to repentance in the mind, body, and soul.  May this revelation lead from repentance to revival in you.  May this blessing transform who you are and flow out of you to bring transformation in your family, friends, region, and land!

I Need Help! 26/40

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerate and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement.

Here we are on day 26.  Let’s remember to continue to walk in humility, repentance, and constant prayer as we move toward the completion of week four. This is not where we have started and this is not where we end.  We are right in the middle of where God wants us to be.  You can do it!  Go ahead and press on through it!

In a place of humility, as well as being strengthened by Holy Spirit, you must never be afraid to ask for help. The individual self-sustaining mentality especially in The West is that you must do it yourself, and it is a shame and disgrace to ask for help.  However,  we all get to a point beyond what we can do in our own strength, physically and spiritually, and that is when we must go to The Lord and others to ask for help.  It should never be an issue when we ask for help as long as we are pressing in to The Lord and seeking Him. Then, when we ask for help, we are asking others to press in to The Lord with us and help us out with what they can do in the physical or spiritual.

Even when we are being obedient to The Lord and doing everything right, we will still need help to overcome the insurmountable obstacles of the world. We go to God first, but must not overlook the fact that God has placed us where we are in community with others to help us.

Jehoshaphat was king of Judah at a time when it was not exactly popular to serve God. He reigned in Judah at the same time as King Ahab and Jezebel in Israel. His righteousness and faithfulness caused him to outlive the rulers of Israel’s wickedness

Jehoshaphat is walking with The Lord and bringing great spiritual reformation to Judah so, of course, the blessing and favor of God is upon him and he has no problems.  Right?  Let’s look at what takes place in today’s reading:

2 Chronicles 20:2 Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is En Gedi).

Three pagan kings see the blessing of God on Jehoshaphat and gather together to come plunder and destroy him and all of Judah.  A message is brought to him that there is a great multitude coming against him.

Vs. 3-4 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord .

Jehoshaphat was a real man, and when this great multitude came against him, the enemy tried to bring in a crippling spirit of fear to overwhelm him before the battle even took place. He was not without fear, but recognizing his fear, Jehoshaphat set himself to seek the Lord.  Then, he gathered together all of Judah to humble themselves in prayer and fasting in asking The Lord for help.  This was the proper response.  Jehoshaphat goes to God himself and realizes this is bigger than just him.  Because of this he calls the whole land to help him in seeking The Lord together. There is great power that comes from seeking The Lord together with others.  That is one reason why we are joining together as a community, literally all over the world, seeking The Lord as one.

During this time of prayer, fasting, and seeking The Lord together, Holy Spirit comes upon Jahaziel and the word of God comes forth:

Vs. 15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

God uses Jahaziel to strengthen and encourage not just Jehoshaphat, but the whole assembly not to fear. Because they have come to God together and placed the situation in His hands, He will now take care of it.  Judah got what they were looking for, but they did not leave and get back to their daily work they had forsaken to come together.  They continued in humility and worshiped The Lord.

Vs. 18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord .

They worshiped before the victory took place. They chose to worship at the simple word that was brought forth. Even beyond this, they decided it was time to put true faith into action.  If this is God’s battle, we are going to do something truly radical.

Vs. 20-21 …Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord , For His mercy endures forever.”

I want to point out that God did not tell them to send the worshippers first.  This was not a word of The Lord, but this was pure faith that God would do what He said.  The people are so assured of The Lord’s faithfulness to complete His word that they place the worshippers in front of the warriors. If this is The Lord’s battle, He will go before us and defeat the army, and we will come after him and worship him for the victory.  Somehow, the fear that once gripped Jehoshaphat has turned into faith in action as he has asked for help from God and his community.  This is the result.

Vs. 22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.

Here was God working a mighty sign and wonder for his people because they had joined together, strengthened each other, and acted in faith as one.  This was all a result because one man asked for help in the most overwhelming situation. God and his community joined together to rescue Jehoshaphat from the place of fear and helped walk with him into victory.

Here we are today, every single one of us have situations in our lives that we have been humbling ourselves, praying, fasting and seeking the Lord to change. Lost family members, demonic attacks on health, depression, fear, oppression and so many more supposedly insurmountable obstacles ominously overshadow us every day.  It is time to ask for help first from God, and also the community of faith around us that God Almighty will speak and work in a way we have not yet seen.  I encourage you, you are not alone! If you would like this community to be praying for you, please send us a message or leave a comment below.

Jesus, I need Your help! I choose to come to You as my strength and my rescue. Raise up a community of faith around me that I can join in seeking You together and that community victory may take place in mighty ways all over the world.  Help me to join with You and others in walking out faith in action and seeing Your glory manifest that we may worship You together in deeper ways than we ever thought possible!

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit for help
  • Ask Him to raise up your community of faith
  • Ask this community to join you in seeking The Lord
  • Apply faith in action to the word and promises He speaks

Be blessed today to see the God of Victory made manifest to destroy and decimate the overshadowing mountains of difficulty that have arisen around you.  May you be quick to run to Him for help.  May a community of faith arise around you to join with you in seeking The Lord and seeing His promises manifest in a special way!

Humble Yourself 23/40

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerate and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement.

I want to release a song that God gave me for my sons 2 and 4 years old.  “It’s a good, good, good, good, good, good, dayyy. It’s a good, good, good, good dayyyy!” Its kind of a catchy little tune that gets in your head, and I often sing it when they, or I, am not in the greatest mood.  So, if you are struggling today on day 23 or if you are doing great, may you be blessed with knowing, “It’s a good, good, good, good, good, good, dayyyy.  It’s a good, good, good, good dayyyy!”

As we press deeper into The 40, we must remember to focus on Jesus for our strength and sustenance. We need him today more than we ever have whether we are fasting or not.  When we admit our need for Jesus and that we cannot do anything on our own, in agreement with John 15:5, we are stepping into humility.  As we continue to fast and pray The 40, humility is one of the greatest virtues we could gain.  Humility partnered with prayer and fasting has an indescribable power that begins to release itself in us and flow out from us.

Let’s examine a few places in scripture where humility is partnered with repentance, prayer and fasting.  In 1 Kings 21, you actually find the only place of fasting without prayer, humility or repentance.  The wicked queen Jezebel actually calls a demonic fast as she schemes to murder Naboth and take his vineyard from him (1 Kings 21:9, 12). This is done through pride for personal gain and results in false accusation.  No humility here.

As King Ahab goes to survey his newly acquired vineyard, Elijah is sent to him with a message. Ahab, Jezebel, and all their children will be completely destroyed and wiped out.  This is a judgment because of their wickedness, rebellion, and constant disobedience to turn from God and his ways.  The following verses contain Ahab’s response:

1 Kings 21:27-29 So it was, when Ahab heard those words, that he tore his clothes and put sackcloth on his body, and fasted and lay in sackcloth, and went about mourning. And the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, “See how Ahab has humbled himself before Me? Because he has humbled himself before Me, I will not bring the calamity in his days. In the days of his son I will bring the calamity on his house.”

Even though the judgment of The Lord had been pronounced; repentance, fasting, and prayer were evidence of a humbled heart before God, and the judgment was delayed until a later time. Fasting and repentance were proof that Ahab had truly humbled himself and submitted himself to God. It was too late to avoid judgment, but God recognized and had mercy, for a time, before judgment took place.

As we continue looking at humbling ourselves, repentance, fasting, and prayer, we move to a passage we discussed in Touching Heaven.  Here, we see the prophet Daniel has moved from repentance prayer in chapter 9 into fasting and prayer for 21 days.  He is pressing in for revelation and desires to gain understanding. As this happens, he sees, hears, and is touched by the heavenly realm:

Daniel 10:2-3, 12 In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three full weeks were fulfilled…  Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

The angel recognizes that Daniel is seeking understanding and humbling himself in prayer. This humbling of self was evidenced by the fact that he was repenting, fasting, and praying.  These are only two of the verses that can be found that provide proof that fasting is a fruit that comes from a repentant and humble heart.

How much more should we seek to have a heart of repentance and to humble ourselves through fasting knowing our God of great grace and mercy that works mightily on our behalf?!

The final passage I want to pinpoint is one that we all probably know and may even have memorized. We have used this scripture for years because of the promise contained within, but I did not understand the full meaning until just recently.  God opened my eyes to a revelation that was hidden right in front of my eyes.

2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

During the National Day of Prayer and other regular prayer meetings, this passage will come up frequently because everyone knows we need our land to be healed.  Now, more than ever, we can see the division and disunity the enemy is trying to bring into the whole earth.

What is the solution? The people of God must come together in true repentance, humility, prayer, and seeking God. In various other places humbling yourself is equated with the action of fasting that evidences your need for God.

Is it possible that this passage that is referenced over and over actually is a call to the people of God to repentance, prayer, and fasting in a spirit of humility that the sin of our land be forgiven and for our prayer to be answered?

There is true power in corporate humbling ourselves through fasting, prayer, and repentance. We must tap into this power if we want to gain the benefits that result.

Vs. 15-16 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

My encouragement for you today is to come seeking God with a heart of humility and repentance. Just because we are fasting does not mean we are humbling ourselves. However, when we realize our need for Holy Spirit to help us and recognize that He is the only one that can do supernatural work in our lives and in the healing of our land, the eyes and ears of heaven will be open and attentive to us. God’s holy name will be on us to sanctify us, draw us closer than ever before, and heal our land. As this happens, The Kingdom of Heaven will be accelerated in and through us!

Jesus, I desire to humble myself before You today. I recognize my utter dependency on You.  Without You I can do nothing. Thank You that I can come boldly before Your throne of grace and ask for all I need. Do a mighty healing in me and in the land as I come to You in humility and repentance.  Make me a sanctified place of residence for Holy Spirit and use me to do Your work.

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit to reveal to you your need for Him
  • Humble yourself by coming to Him in repentance and humility
  • Ask for the strength and sustaining power to walk in obedience today
  • Obey all He calls you to do

Be blessed with new revelations of humility and your need for God, and the ability to walk into deeper levels of humbling yourself. May your land be healed and your people restored as you humble yourself and are accelerated in The Kingdom with Him!

Accomplishing The “Impossible” 9/40

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerate and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement!

Most of us have started The 40 with high expectations, however, now the real work begins.  The day to day living it out can be hard since we must constantly seek to overrule our flesh and give ourselves to the Lord. Now is the time to encourage ourselves in The Lord the benefits of keeping The 40 and continuing to walk with Holy Spirit in spite of what our bodies might be telling us.

Prayer and fasting gives us the power to accomplish the “impossible”.  Of course, we know that “nothing shall be impossible with God”, yet we still live our lives with “impossible” situations which do not seem to respond to us. Jesus’ disciples had this same problem while He was on the mount being transfigured.  A man whose son is assaulted by demons asks for their help.  Though they try, they can do nothing about it.  When Jesus returns, He easily casts out the demons and heals the boy.  He does not seem to be impressed with His disciples’ efforts either.  The disciples come to Him and ask why they could not do the same.  This is His response:

Matthew 17:20 “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

We do not know what was going on in the disciples’ minds, but Jesus did not ever shy away from directly addressing what people said in their hearts.  I believe the disciples did not see a response and had blamed it on not having enough faith.  Jesus directly confronts this with The Kingdom Truth that the smallest amount of faith can do the mightiest things in His Kingdom.  They had let doubt creep in and this kept them from pressing in to see transformation take place. Then, Jesus says something else interesting that some translations completely leave out.

Matthew 7:21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

What kind is Jesus talking about?  Some would say demons, but I think He is talking about the unbelief.  Unbelief is a pesky little problem that constantly assaults our media-driven culture.  If we cannot see or hear something happening, it is quite hard for us to believe.  We can never see the shifting in the heavens when our eyes are on worldly circumstances.

If unbelief keeps us back from doing mighty work in The Kingdom, we should be quick to follow Jesus’ cure for it, prayer and fasting.  This dynamite duo is able to demolish and disintegrate the demonic unbelief that has built up in our lives.  Through a lifestyle of repentance, humility, prayer, and fasting we are able to say, “God I trust You to take care of the unseen as I partner with You in the physical.  I need you to do the “impossible” work of overcoming these spiritual obstacles in me while I do the possible work, with Your help, of repentance, prayer and fasting.”

Jesus, help me to know that you have given me a measure of faith.  This faith has the power to overcome every seemingly impossible thing in my life and those around me.  Help me to join with you in prayer and fasting that all unbelief within me will be destroyed and Your mountain-moving faith will be displayed in me for all to come and glorify You.

Practical –

  • Ask Holy Spirit to reveal the things in your life and around you that you have labeled as impossible
  • Pray that every ounce of unbelief is removed from your life
  • Participate with Him in doing the impossible whatever He shows you to do

Be blessed with the power to remove all doubt and do the impossible as you walk with God in obedience and humility.  May this accelerate The Kingdom in and through your life!

What’s The Secret? 5/40

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerateand other words for the reason behind the fast as well as daily encouragement.

Having completed day 4, you have given a tithe of the 40 to the Lord.  This first fruit may have been difficult to achieve, but Father God is pleased with this sweet offering. Today, I would like to reveal the secret of The 40, and why it is important to set apart a special period of fasting and prayer for this amount of time.

This is an excerpt from The Prophetic Whisper by Richard Gazowsky – “I am going to show you a secret vulnerability in Satan’s kingdom. His weakness is in the flies.” Later that day, we went to the Carmel Public Library and looked up the word “fly”…I discovered that the meaning of Beelzebub, one of the names of Satan is, “Lord of the Flies”…Scientists have discovered that flies have a reproductive period that lasts from four hours to over forty days, depending on the species. When pest controllers go to eradicate flies in a certain area, they spray pesticides every day for a forty-day period. If they destroy the reproductive cycles of presently existing flies, they can kill off a whole generation of future flies. I then saw what God was trying to show me…if a Christian will pray consistently for a forty day period he will be able to conquer most satanic strongholds in his life.’

This revelation was astounding to me when I discovered it. No wonder we see all the major heroes of the faith fasting and praying The 40.  They were systematically destroying the reproductive rights of the enemy in their lives.  They desired to walk in The Fullness of The Kingdom and would not allow anything to hold them back.

Most of us know the story of David and Goliath.  The giant spews his venom in 1 Samuel 17:8-11.  By doing this, he is reproducing this fear from his lips into the hearts of Saul and the army.   How long did he do this? Verse 16 confirms for forty days.

In Genesis 7 it rained forty days that the earth would be cleansed of its filth.

In Deuteronomy 8 The Israelites wandered in the desert forty years to destroy the unbelief of a generation.

In Deuteronomy 9:11 Moses fasted The 40 to receive the ten commandments.

In Deuteronomy 9:18 Moses fasts The 40 again to intercede for the salvation of a wicked people.

Elijah was sustained in 1 Kings 19 for The 40 to break the curse of Jezebel in the land.

It is possible that the people of Nineveh in Jonah 3 fasted and prayed The 40 for God’s mercy and grace.

Jesus fasted The 40 in preparation to overcome the enemy’s temptations.

The secret of The 40 is to overcome every demonic stronghold in your life and stop it from reproducing that you may truly be propelled into all that God has for you!!! This is why the enemy will use any means necessary to keep you from The 40.  Often, the concern of family and friends will be used as pressure to break your commitment to The Lord. Also, be careful of the enemy using the care and hospitality of others to lure you away from the power of The 40 being manifested in your life!

Jesus, give us the ability to go The 40 and receive the right to cut off the head of the Goliaths in our lives. We desire to be propelled into our destinies by the total defeat of the enemy!

Practical –

Read 1 Samuel 17 and meditate on the power of The 40 to destroy the reproductive rights of the enemy.

Study the lives of those who did The 40 and how they changed history.

Be blessed to endure throughout The 40 that you may destroy the enemy and accelerate The Kingdom of God in and through your life!

What’s It Worth To You

You are invited to join us for the Celebrate to Accelerate fast! Please review Celebrate to Accelerate and other words for the reasons behind the fast as well as daily encouragement!

Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!”

Today, I will choose to be thankful and bless The Lord no matter how my body may feel.  Right now, if you have given up food, it is normal for your body to go through some of the same symptoms of withdrawal.  Too much salt, sugar, and caffeine in our daily lives will cause headaches, nausea, achy limbs, a general feeling of weakness… as these are removed, and the body rids itself of toxins.  The good news is that these fleshly oppositions should pass today or tomorrow completely. If you have decided to participate in this fast, the only question now is –

  What’s it worth to you?

In our daily lives, we rarely have to give up anything of true value.  However, when we do, we must calculate if it is truly worth it.  There is a great difference between when you look into your purse or wallet and decide what you will pay for a shirt, a book, or a meal; and when you must consider the price you would pay for an education, a car, or a house.

An object is only worth as much as we are willing to give for it.  Careful thought is put into how much a man will pay for a ring because you cannot put a price on the one that you really love. As we fast and go through the daily troubles and temptations (i.e. your boss buying your favorite lunch for everyone the first day of the fast) let us look to Jesus and consider how much He is worth to us.

Maybe this is where you find yourself today: 2 Corinthians 4:8-11 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

Troubles, persecutions, and the death of the enemy may come upon us in many different ways, but even as our flesh is delivered to death it is a necessary sacrifice to manifest the life of Jesus in our flesh!  May the life of Jesus shine out of you today and bring glory to The Father!

Here is something else to think about. In the middle of a discourse on denying your flesh, Jesus asks these two questions in Mark 8:36-37: For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

What is a soul truly worth?  Jesus bled, suffered, and died that your soul might be completely set free.  That is how much your soul is worth to Him. How much is Jesus truly worth to You? How much do you value the lost souls around you?

Jesus, I am willing to do whatever it takes and give up whatever it costs that you may be glorified and that lost souls may come into Your Kingdom!!! Help me to truly value You not just in my thoughts and words but in my daily actions of obedience!

Practical –

• Read Mark 8:34-38 and contemplate the value of a soul.

• Make sure you have included a list of lost or backslidden people in your daily prayer time.

• Listen and obey when Holy Spirit brings up specific things to do for these individuals.

Be blessed to know the true value of your soul and the souls of those around you as you celebrate The Word to accelerate The Kingdom!!!

Mantling of the Eagles

Psalm 104:4‬ ‭(TPT‬‬)
‭‭You make Your messengers into winds of the Spirit and all Your ministers become flames of fire.

Recently while in prayer and reading the book of Jeremiah, the Lord began to speak and quicken my spirit to a fresh outpouring and deeper revelation of what He is releasing upon the earth; of what He is releasing upon prophets who have been hidden in caves of isolation and cultivation.

November 16, 2019

The day is coming and indeed it’s here now, when I will call out the prophets who have been hidden in caves of isolation and I will clothe them in mantles of evangelism seeped in Fire. This Fire will be a catalyzing thrust to ekballo them into the nations to take them for My Glory. The Fire will extinguish every demonic dart of distraction sent their way and they will be fully focused on this one thing — declaration of salvation.

They will continually be propelled forward; for the forward propulsion will continue to cultivate the blazing, raging Fire upon their beings.

They will not cease to advance My Kingdom, nor will they cease to take possession of nations and to bring them into My Kingdom forever.

The smoke trail that they leave behind will serve as a smoke signal and a map pointing the way for many to follow.

These forerunners will not back down nor turn their gaze away from My eyes of Fire and My flame of Love. They have been seared with My flame and all they see is the earth engulfed in My flame. This the lense  in which they will see through.

As He spoke this word, I began to see mantles of fire manifesting from Heaven and being bestowed upon the Burning Ones. They came catapulting towards earth and striking upon the shoulders of these Faithful Ones. These are they who in the secret place have been in deep communion with God and have already been steeped in intimacy; and now they are being seeped in these mantles of Fire.

God is calling forth an army of prophets in this new day who will be mantled with Fire for the reaping of a giant Harvest of souls over the next decade! He is calling them out to take nations, people groups, families, cities, and communities into The Kingdom.

They will not bow to the culture or the command of man, but will blaze a trail through the wilderness for the nations to follow; even if it costs them their very lives. They will receive and retrieve the word of God from the secret place and decree and declare it into existence in the earth. They will tear down age-old foundations of religion and perversion; and they will establish Heaven’s reality with their words.

The Lord brought me to these Scriptures revealing the markers of these true mantled Burning Ones:

1. They will be unwavering and unswerving with the Word of the Lord. The Word of the Lord spoken from their mouths will be both destructive to religion and everything unholy; and reconstructive in establishing Heavenly Kingdom order.

Jeremiah‬ ‭1:9-10 (NLT)
Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put My words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.”

2. They will be fearless, undignified, and undaunted warriors.

Jeremiah 1:17-19 (NLT)
“Get up and prepare for action. Go out and tell them everything I tell you to say. Do not be afraid of them, or I will make you look foolish in front of them. For see, today I have made you strong like a fortified city that cannot be captured, like an iron pillar or a bronze wall. You will stand against the whole land— the kings, officials, priests, and people of Judah. They will fight you, but they will fail. For I am with you, and I will take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!”

3. You will know them by their fruit. Their words will pierce the target every time and accomplish My purpose of purification and reconfiguration.

Jeremiah‬ ‭23:28-29‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)
“Let these false prophets tell their dreams, but let My true messengers faithfully proclaim My every word. There is a difference between straw and grain! Does not My word burn like fire?” says the Lord. “Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes a rock to pieces?”

4. They will be trailblazers, nationshakers, atmosphere changers, revelators, and pioneers paving the way for nations to come to My Light. Their very lives will ignite the stone-cold embers of sleeping giants and awaken them to salvation’s call. They will successfully accomplish My heart’s deep desire of returning to a world set ablaze like a raging inferno of praise and glory.

Luke 12:49 (TPT)
“I have come to set the earth on fire. And how I long for every heart to be already ablaze with this fiery passion for God!”

Luke‬ ‭12:49-51 ‭(MSG‬‬)
“I’ve come to start a fire on this earth—how I wish it were blazing right now! I’ve come to change everything, turn everything rightside up—how I long for it to be finished! Do you think I came to smooth things over and make everything nice? Not so. I’ve come to disrupt and confront!”
