The Importance of The One (Southeast Asia)

I have been back in the states for a few days now, but it is still almost unreal where I have gone and what God has done with me. For me, a normal person who said “Yes, I will follow”, it is almost unbelievable what God has done. After a week, 10 teams of three and four came back with an offering to the Lord of 4,612 souls. This is not including the healing, encouragement, and freedom that was ministered to countless people, churches, and other organizations. I praise God that I was able to contribute an offering to give glory to His name!!!

As I think back to some of the most powerful encounters with what God did over the trip, I am reminded of the importance of stopping for the one. All throughout Scripture, Jesus is teaching and ministering to large crowds of people, but is frequently interrupted by the one. One person needs some special attention, healing, freedom, or salvation. When this happens, Jesus does not ignore them and continue on to minister to the crowd, but gives them as much love, compassion, and care as the large crowds. He takes the time to minister to the one.

Even though we literally saw thousands of people come to know the Lord, the most powerful times were when God brought the one. The time I felt the most powerful move of God was for one person. God orchestrated things for me to preach at an evening service in a large church. The pastor of this church had some personal problems, but had still invited me to come and speak. Before even going, I was told not to expect anyone to come forward for an invitation time because it was culture for them to commit to follow Jesus later during a personal meeting with the pastor.

As I worshipped, I felt the presence of God in a mighty way, and as I spoke the word, I was experiencing part of His heart of compassion for the people. Although it has rarely happened, God moved me to tears as I called for His lost sons and daughters to come to their Good Father. No one moved, but I knew I was here for this purpose so I continued to press in. After some time, one lone girl in pink came down and knelt at the altar. She broke the cultural expectations, in front of over 100 people, and courageously came to The Good Father. Not too long after that three more came. I was so overcome, I could not even lead them in a prayer, but left that to the translator to do. As I went down and prayed for each one, the floor was wet with the tears of the this teenage girl. She remained there weeping for the whole ministry time as we prayed for the sick. Afterwards, the over abundance of joy that was exuding out of her was evidence that she had been changed. This is why I was there, for this one girl. The others were just a bonus from God for my obedience.

You may not be called at this moment to go and evangelize on a street corner to dozens of people or preach in a church or conference to hundreds or thousands. However, you are called to the one who does not know. One neighbor, family member, friend, or co-worker is who you are called to speak to. One cashier needs to hear the Truth. One worker in a store has been prepared to receive. One person at the park is hurting and in need. That is who you are called to no matter who you are.

I encourage you today, begin to look around you for the one who is hurting, lost, in need. Pray for them, then open your mouth and speak the truth that is in you. As you are faithful to shine the light that is in you, God will be faithful to bring more to you. Never forget, at one time, you were the one that needed someone to speak the truth to you and to be shown the heart of a Good Father. May God bless you to be the one to minister His heart to the one today, this week, and for the rest of your life!!!

Matthew 18:14 So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones be lost.

Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.

It’s Not Over Yet

Word of the Lord for America- December 8, 2017

There is much in store for this country. You will see a new wave yet. There is much to come for My hand has not lifted completely nor have I turned My face from My children. I am one of compassion and am slow to anger, abounding in love.

America, your days are not over yet. It is time to stop rejecting My hand of redemption at work in you. I am indeed in control and am using the ones I put in place to turn the tide of evil and destruction. Yes, you may not see it or want to, but I have established My hand where it is most effective to bring a shifting. I know what I am doing. More than any man ever could.

I am doing a new thing and it will look different than anything that preceded it. Do not resist it like a stubborn child refusing the choice meat I put before you and instead choosing to live off of the meager rations of leftovers. There is much to be done still and much change to come. The enemy is being conquered and overthrown and I am bringing forth a new face. Look and see it coming forth even now.

Isaiah 48:1-11

“Listen to me, O family of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel and born into the family of Judah. Listen, you who take oaths in the name of the Lord and call on the God of Israel. You don’t keep your promises, even though you call yourself the holy city and talk about depending on the God of Israel, whose name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Long ago I told you what was going to happen. Then suddenly I took action, and all My predictions came true. For I know how stubborn and obstinate you are. Your necks are as unbending as iron. Your heads are as hard as bronze. That is why I told you what would happen; I told you beforehand what I was going to do. Then you could never say, ‘My idols did it. My wooden image and metal god commanded it to happen!’

You have heard My predictions and seen them fulfilled, but you refuse to admit it. Now I will tell you new things, secrets you have not yet heard. They are brand new, not things from the past. So you cannot say, ‘We knew that all the time!’ “Yes, I will tell you of things that are entirely new, things you never heard of before. For I know so well what traitors you are. You have been rebels from birth. Yet for My own sake and for the honor of My name, I will hold back My anger and not wipe you out. I have refined you, but not as silver is refined. Rather, I have refined you in the furnace of suffering. I will rescue you for My sake— yes, for My own sake! I will not let My reputation be tarnished, and I will not share My glory with idols!”

Where’s The Fruit?

Daily Encouragement –

Are you My disciple? Are you glorifying Me? I see your heart and know you desire to bring glory to Me. Are you doing it?

I get glory when My children are saved, healed, and set free. I get glory when you bear much fruit for The Kingdom. The more fruit you bear for Me, the more glory I get.

I do not get the glory I desire when you are doing well and the people around you are suffering. My compassion will not allow Me to sit back and do nothing. My compassion in you should not let you either.

You must bear fruit to be a disciple! The more you bear, the more of My disciple you become. I want you to be a disciple that lives in Me and My love.

Come close to Me, follow in My footsteps, and we will bear much fruit together!!! I love you My child!!!

John 15:8-10 My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be My [true] disciples. 9 I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]. 10 If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.

Heart of The Kingdom

Daily Encouragement –

I love you My child! Right now, you have the unique opportunity to be a part of building My eternal Kingdom here on earth. You are My instrument of righteousness as you join with Me that I will use for My glory.  Continue to come near Me and know Me.

Jesus is the heart of The Kingdom. Not only is He the perfect representation of Me, The Father, but the Kingdom is built on and centered around Him.  How He walked on earth is how I want all My sons and daughters to live.

Jesus is the Center and Heart of the Kingdom. In Him, you see My heart of compassion more than any other place in history. This was His motivation and driving force because this is who I am.

Come to Me and receive a fresh revelation and anointing of My love, mercy, and compassion, and you will come to know the Kingdom and walk in it with Me in a deeper way than ever before. I love you My child.

Romans 6:11-14 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Hebrews 1:1-4 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Changing Cambodia – Video Update #9

God brought us to Cambodia on the eighth stop in this crazy awesome faith journey that He has us on.  He did some cool stuff there and had us speak in a few churches, lead Bible studies, and encourage the staff at the YWAM base in Battambang.

Easter, The Multiplication of Martyrdom

So, we are here in Cambodia now.  It seems that Wifi is much harder to come by in the day to day happenings that take place than it was before.  We have been here nearly a week, but have not updated and for this I apologize.  However, such is the life of those who are on adventure for the Lord.

Our travels here were uncertain and unplanned. After trying to reach our contact for two weeks and still not hearing from him, we came knowing that this is where we were supposed to be. The Lord rewarded our faith and when we got here, we were able to get ahold of our contact Both, and he took good care of us in Phnom Penh.  Good Friday, we went out with some of his family to a nearby mountain and got to pray over the nation from a high vantage point. Here, every high mountain in covered with temples and idols to demons. However, we claimed this mountain and the area for the Lord, and prayed that He would change the hearts of the people from darkness to the Truth.

After talking with Both and his pastor, they invited us to share with their church on Easter Sunday what God revealed to us to be praying for Cambodia and lead the people in prayer.  At that time, I agreed to it even though God had not spoken anything yet.  But, the testimony of the Lord is that He is forever faithful to His word, and He revealed three areas that we are praying over Cambodia, and are important for all of us to pray for ourselves and our nations.

Jeremiah preaching at Living Hope in Christ Church

First, God spoke to me from Matthew 9:35-36 that Cambodia is the heart of Southeast Asia, and as such, the Christians should be praying that they would receive the heart of compassion of the Father.  Every time Jesus did miracles (feeding the 5,000, raising Lazarus from the dead, raising the widow’s son to life) it was because He was moved with compassion for the people. In the same way, we must be continually praying that God would give us His heart of love for Him and for His people.  I remembered that last time I was in Cambodia two years ago, this was one of the main things I was praying for myself.  It makes sense that this would be an important point of prayer for the nation.

Second, God continued speaking to me from vs. 37-38 of the same chapter in Matthew.  The harvest here is plentiful, but the laborers are few.  So, we need to be praying that God would send forth laborers into the harvest and be willing to go as He calls us to go forth.  It is interesting that the word Jesus uses here for sending forth the workers is the same one in Greek that is used when He is casting out demons.  God is calling His laborers to go forth with power and purpose into the harvest to reap the souls that He rightfully deserves and bought and paid for with His blood!

Lastly, God began to speak to me that we are all called to be martyrs!  For us, when we think of martyrs, we think of those who have died for being Christians.  But the Greek word we get martyr from literally means “ones who gives witness of what they know to be the Truth”.  We know more than anyone else what and Who the Truth is, and therefore, we are called to share it in the same way Paul was (Acts 26:16,18).  The Christians in the early church were so willing to share the witness of what they knew to be true that they did not care what persecution, trouble, life, or death became of them.  So many early Christians gave their lives as a witness for what they knew to be true, that we took the word and have used it for those who die for the Gospel.  This is how we overcome the enemy as it states in Revelations 12:11 “…By the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony.”  Jesus was The Faithful Witness unto death (Rev 1:5) and we must follow His example no matter what the outcome may be.  For the people here in Cambodia, surrounded by Communism and Islam, there is much more to lose than people in the US.

Jeremiah and Bandol

Jeremiah and Bandol

I want to call you to not just pray for Cambodia, though this is something I ask you to do, but to pray and apply all of these areas to your own life.

Pray that God will give you His heart of compassion and love and that everything you do will flow out of that same love!

Pray that God will send forth laborers with power into the ripe harvest, and be willing to be one of these, as He speaks, that He may receive the reward He bought and paid for with His blood!

Pray that God would help you to be a faithful witness to everyone around you of what and Who you know to be The Truth, and that He would use you just like Paul “to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me” Acts 26:18.
