Good Fruit

Daily Encouragement –

What seeds have you sown? What choices have you made? What is the reward coming to you as a result?

Every action has a reward, a fruit, some good some bad. My desire is for you to be completely saved, healed, delivered, blessed! However, this only comes as you obey My word.

The fruit of obedience to My Word is abundant life! Never let your actions or words be against Me or for the enemy. When you get to the point where you openly speak against Me and My ways, you are in trouble.

No matter what level, if you do wrong, your reward and fruit will come to you. Good fruit comes from humility and obedience to Me. Disobedience will bring bad fruit even if your sinful pride would disagree.

Come to Me, change the seed you are sowing, and reap the abundant life I desire for you!!! I love you My child!!!

Isaiah 3:8-11 “For Jerusalem stumbled, And Judah is fallen, Because their tongue and their doings Are against the Lord, To provoke the eyes of His glory. The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves. “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, For the reward of his hands shall be given him

Seek, Know, Follow Me

Daily Encouragement –

Where is your mind today? What are you thinking and worrying about? Where is your heart? You cannot fool Me with your words so do not even try. It is time to be open and honest with yourself. It can be easy to deceive even yourself for a time, but the Truth will be revealed!

I want all of your mind, heart, and body, and I want you to love Me with everything you are!!! It is easy to say you love Me and I have all of you, but it is a fresh choice you have to make every single day to give yourself to Me and walk in The Kingdom!

You are not like those who say all the right things, but are far from Me so do not act like it. They seem holy and righteous, but I do not even know them. You must actively seek Me out! Doing this will cause you to really know and grow close to Me.

Come follow Me! You do not need to know exactly where we are going or how we will get there. The destination and journey are not as important as who or what you are following!!! Follow Me!!! I love you My Child!!!

Jeremiah 12:2-3 “…You are honored by their [hypocritical] lips But [You are] far from their heart and mind. But You, O Lord, know me [and understand my devotion to You]; You see me; And You examine the attitude of my heart toward You…”

Calling the Unqualified

Daily Encouragement –

I love you My child. I have called you and chosen you for this time and this purpose, to exalt My name in all the earth. People from everywhere must see you and glorify Me because of what is happening in and through you.

You can be sure that by yourself, you are not the most qualified, capable, or best choice. However, you have said “Yes” to Me and your heart is to seek Me and love Me completely. As you hunger and thirst after Me, I will make you more than qualified and far beyond capable because you are standing with Me.

No matter what the world may throw at you, know this… With Me on your side, you have already conquered, overcome, and reign victorious before the battle has even begun.

Come close to Me and watch what I will do in and through you My willing warrior!!! I love you My child!!!

1 Corinthians 1:26-31 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

Determining Destiny

It has been over a month since my last post and sometimes that is how life is.  However, a major life change has happened, and I could not be more excited about how God is moving.  After 15 months of being back from our missionary journeys, plugging in wherever we can, God has sent us to a church.  God has confirmed in us that we are to be assistant pastors at Living Water Church in Burleson.  I have started working here part-time this week, and the more I get to know the pastor, the church and the people; the more convinced I am that God has us right where He wants us.

Things rarely happen how we think that they will.  I would have loved to be doing more sooner, but God accomplishes His plans in His timing.  It is how we handle the things that the world throws at us and the times of waiting that allows us to determine our destiny.  This is the fourth devotion in the Destiny Series [1: Designed for Destiny, 2: Best Possible Signal, 3: Destiny Destroyer (Unforgiveness)].

In a superhero’s life, there are moments when one choice determines their destiny. For Bruce Wayne, the death of his parents could have caused him to become insane or a criminal. However, he chose to use this as an incentive to dispense justice. This choice made him the greatest hero of all time!!!

Bruce Wayne/Batman

Sadly, Batman is just a fictional superhero.  However, you have the ability to affect your destiny, as well as the destiny of those around you, today. Right Now!!!  You do not have to be a billionaire or be special in the eyes of the world. You just have to be willing to listen and be obedient to whatever God speaks.

Read Acts 9:10-20

Here, we meet a certain disciple. Ananias was listening and heard a disturbing word. “Go and pray for Saul of Tarsus”. Saul was known as a destroyer of the church, and he had authority to imprison and kill believers. Ananias had the choice to be obedient against his desire and comfortability or disobey. Because of his obedience, Saul was healed and saved. In effect, all of Paul’s missionary journeys, salvations, churches he established, and books of the Bible that you still read today resulted from Ananias’ obedience. What a destiny for someone who is never mentioned again before or after!

If you are walking with God, you are a certain disciple just like Ananias. You may feel unimportant and meaningless at times; however, as you position yourself to receive from God and are obedient to what He speaks, you become infused with His power and presence. As He leads you to speak and pray for others, God’s presence can be infused into other’s lives. Your choice to walk into your destiny with God has the power to transform you and everyone around you!!!

One tiny word can change, save, or set a life free when spoken out of Obedience and Truth!!!

One simple act can affect a person, a nation, or all of eternity if you are walking with the Spirit into your destiny!!!

Challenge: Take time to listen carefully to Holy Spirit. Write down what He reveals. As He gives a word or action, be obedient to take action, do it or speak it. Talk to a leader if you have questions or need someone to help you be obedient.
